Tall Town Café & Bakery

Went here with my family while visiting Lakeview. I have been here before and the food is ok. My mom ordered the “TAB” sandwich. When she got the sandwich and started eating it she immediately said something was wrong. The cheese smelled very ripe and was sour. She told the waitress when she came by and the waitress very loudly yelled to the cook that he needed to come talk to my mom about it! Strike one in my book. The cook came out, chatted with my mom and in the course of the chat even admitted that he noticed the cheese smelled a little ripe! It was mozzarella by the way which is not a sour cheese. Strike 2. They offered something else but my mom didn’t want anything. The waitress was then very loudly, (whole restaurant could hear), saying how no one had ever complained about the food here and it was not his fault. I think it was very unprofessional and rude. Very unnecessary and poorly handled situation. Strike 3. I will not go back here, we were embarrassed and humiliated. Worst customer service ever!

The food was good. The wait after we put our order in was 50 minutes. The 4 is because our server did not advise us of the wait until we asked. However, she was genuinely sorry for the wait

This restaurant has really good food great service friendly and I recommend eating the posole the best but all their food is really good

Perhaps we caught them on a bad Sunday, and maybe they were down a person on staff but we were waiting for almost half an hour to have our order taken. Two tables that came in after us were taken before us.. I asked for eggs over hard and got over easy. Price was reasonable though

Tall Town is a busy place. We had a good meal in a relatively short period. Would return. Sorry that I forgot pictures.
