Tall Town Café & Bakery

Great breakfast steak and eggs, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We were obviously from out of town early in the morning and they had everything we needed to keep us going on to Nevada. We will be back, and we love Lakeview!

I always love it when I find a gem in the rough. We're driving up the Eastern side of the Sierras and Cascades, and stopped in Lakeview to eat. This little cafe was wonderful and I'm only sorry that I don't know when I'll ever get back here again!

Food was fine. Wait person treated us okay. Would probably not return unless I had to do so. Had a rude local female bark at my husband because he remarked on something a man said that was sitting beside us...and that man had started the conversation including my spouse. Guess they could tell we were out-of-town folks. Boo.

The environment is awesome with very cute decorations and paintings inside! And the workers were very kind. You barely drink 3 sips of coffee before someone was there to top it off :-) Food was very good also. We would highly recommend it. Prices were on par with typical breakfast restaurants--about $8.50 for a large delicious omelette stuffed full of veggies & 3 typea of meat- Lakeview Omelette.

Service was friendly and reasonable. Place was clean. Food was good and hot when served. Ordered breakfast - Corned beef hash was very good. Chorizo sausage link was tasty. Portions and prices reasonable. Would stop here again.

Read the reviews and was reluctant but I tried it out and I didn't regret it. This is a wonderful place to eat and breakfast is quick and large. Yummy!! This place needs to have a lot more customers they deserve it.

This isn't the best place in Lakeview so if you can go somewhere else in town you should.

We were here for almost 10 minutes when they finally gave us our menus. granted we had to go up and grab our menues from the waitress. We it took another 15 to them to give us our drinks, which had coffee grounds in them. So we asked them to return the and the waitress walked away bad mouthing us. At this point we were all about to walk out without paying. But we decided that we've already taken all of our time out we might as well stay. Over all it was a terrible service and a complete waste of time.

Don’t hesitate. Great friendly staff. Crispy hash browns. Good sausage patty. Awesome veggie omelette. Plenty of coffee.

The food and the workers were good and got you set and asked you what you want to drink and ask you for what you want to eat too
