GoodBean Jacksonville

The young crowd that was in there wasn't very kind in that not only myself but my brother on different occasions has been made to feel inferior when asking if the food or drink that was waiting to be picked up was his or not. Yes, they called our names but with how noisy it can be in there it can be difficult to make out what names are being called. The customer service could really be better. I didn't appreciate the smug attitude when asking if what was ready was mine or not simply because I wanted to make sure I wasn't taking anyone else's order.

Great experiences here! Came twice this week. Coffee is a good flavor, their fresh bagels are amazing (we had cinnamon raisin and pesto mozzarella), and the space is comfortable with enough seating and room to accommodate COVID restrictions well. Our favorite place on our visit to Jacksonville!

My favorite Coffee shop in JVille. Everything I have had on the breakfast menu has been wonderful. And the Carrot Cake is amazing!

This is the best coffee in area, and there treats and other eats are delicious as well as reasonably-priced. The only drawback would be how popular this place is. It is rare to find a seat indoors, but the sidewalk seating is usually available, and its Jacksonville, so it is nice to sit outside and look at the building while making fun of the tourists and yuppies. As a final thought, I'll just say that when I'm in Jacksonville, I make a point to grab a coffee and a pastry or bagel (the bagels are awesome).

Masks aren’t required here for customers. Is that an option? The mask mandate hasn’t been lifted. According to Oregon.gov “Masks, face coverings or face shields are required in all indoor spaces.“

I understand masks aren’t required when actively eating or drinking, but I watched four people walk in from the outside, order their food and drinks and they weren’t wearing masks. The woman working the counter and barista were.

Why wouldn’t this business want to keep everyone safe - customers and employees? Won’t give them my business again.

I've always loved The Good Bean. Great coffee, good treats. However the Jacksonville location really needs to get their act together. The staff there has attitude for one thing. The last 5 times I've stopped in there has been problems. My order forgotten and instead of a proper apology, they were short and rude. Every time I have tried to order the spicy Chai I was told they were out. Perhaps taking it off the menu then. The pork tacos were also incredibly disappointing. Dry, barely any toppings, barely worth what I paid. I wonder if there is a disconnect between management and proper training of the staff? I expect more from the quality I'm used to at Good Bean.

Sweet drinks, warm and inviting atmosphere great for creative inspiration, and plenty of seating. WiFi works really well too, I've never had an issue with the speed. Tip well, they deserve it. Very friendly crew there. And if you're there for lunch, the dip is incredible but so is every item in the display case.

I have always really loved this place. Back when this location only served donuts, coffee and baguettes, I went every weekend. Now the place serves all sorts of things and has a modernized look. Although a bit spendy, I would say it's to be expected in the tourist town. After you've stopped for some coffee, head over to the cemetery for some fresh air and make a day of learning about people who built the town. :)

Went here yesterday they had no Bagels and no food. Was alittle disappointed. But got a coffee and it tasted like it did when i came 25 years ago best coffee ever. Came in this morning got my coffee and bagel.....I'm a happy girl. I would recommend this place for sure. I will be back
