Ground Espresso Bar & Cafe

Randomly stumbled into this absolute gem on our way through town! The atmosphere they created is absolutely darling, a great place to sit and grab a beverage and a bite to eat. My boyfriend and I both got the chunky monkey freeze and it was amazing! Hands down my new favorite coffee joint, be sure to check them out!

One of my favorites to stop for a very good espresso in Hood River, OR. If they had some classier sweet bites that go well with good coffee (like those at Petite Province), it would get 5 stars.

They raised prices on food that's not even good in the first place. AND they have some of the most rude employees, literally nobody made eye contact with me, who does that? I only got coffee and I will be doing that at stoked from now on !

The smell alone when you walk in makes your day! Such a great atmosphere with great customer service included! We leave happy everytime we leave! ALWAYS try some of their baked goods or try some of their food! You will NOT be dissatisfied?

Some racy stuff was being said that just wasn't my speed. Your establishment, you can say whatever you would like. The food and coffee was fine and fairly priced.

i’m new to hood river and i love this place. great beverages, food looks good although i haven’t had it yet. interior is cozy and inviting. good wifi and outlets. employees are super nice and genuine. i’ve seen how they handle costumers trying to order food after hours and they do an excellent job. having worked in many restaurants and cafes, this is a difficult thing. definitely recommend!

Wonderful mushroom soup, great sandwiches, powerful coffee, service with a smile, comfortable atmosphere.
