Egg River Café

Stopped in for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. The location was easy to find, but parking can be a problem. They have about 6 parking spots adjacent to the restaurant, we're full when we arrived. A trip around the block was needed and we then got a spot on the street near the restaurant. As we were walking in, I noticed they have additional parking on the opposite side of Oak Street.
Once inside we were seated quickly, but it took some time for our server to get to ua and take our order. Once it arrived, the food was very good. I had the Short Rib Hash which was excellent. The Omelet my wife had was also quite good.

Wonderful breakfast/lunch menu. We had a great view of Mt. Hood from our table.

I've had breakfast here a couple times. I like that the menu offers options and a variety of unusual items. I had the brie omelette. It was outstanding. I would recommend trying some thing different than what you're accustomed to for breakfast. You Will not be disappointed.

good breakfast food, awesome coffee, friendly staff. a little pricey, but that's nothing new these days. they have options of organic eggs, gluten free toast, and oatmeal.
