Stayed for three nights in Hood River and here we started every day with a delicious breakfast. It’s a cozy place and the people are really friendly. Thank you!

Horrible business to be near. Their guests park in our lot constantly and owners won’t do anything about it. We have a small footprint and do not effect their business but are really tired of having to find vehicle owner in their restaurant instead of having them towed. We will now start booting any of their clients that park in our lot. Here’s a pic of the person we asked to remove their truck TODAY. Parked across our entire lot.

Our favorite breakfast spot in Hood River! The chicken fried steak, chilaquiles, and fried chicken sandwich were all outstanding. So good that we went two mornings in a row!

This old boy knew better than to order 2 pancakes. One was larger than my hand. An ohh so good.

Excellent food, huge plates full of delicious food. Breakfast is one of my favorites, so I high standards and this was amazing. All their pancake specials were amazing and plates were plentiful. My husband's an eater and he couldn't finish his. Great service and a wonderful view. Highly recommend.

The food is fantastic. The breakfast menu is vast with lots of tasty options. I had the biscuits and sausage gravy which was both large and tasty. The other member of my entourage had eggs over with toast, bacon and fruit. Also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant with its chicken motif. On our return visit, sausage and eggs, eggs Benedict and a vegetarian omelet. All great with fantastic service.

First time visiting. Smelled wonderful walking in the front doors! Super cute place. We were seated right away though it looked very busy walking in. Service was very prompt and friendly. Cute little country chicken theme. Food was absolutely delicious, well seasoned, cooked perfectly, country gravy was heaven, fresh fruit was the best I've had in a while. I can now see why the place is always busy when we drive by. Definitely worth a visit if in the area. We will be visiting again for sure. Parking can be tricky. Three parking in front of the building additional parking across the street.

Great service, great coffee, even had almond milk. (The wife was happy) The meals were all, big portions and amazing flavor. Sausage biscuit was really tasty and nice touch with sausage crumbles. Not pictured huge banana pancake, was super thick, yet fluffy... delicious!

Went here the morning after a big wedding. Only reason I’m giving 4-stars is they don’t have any large tables. We had to get two separate booths for a party of 10. Also, service was a little slow. It was a busy weekend, I’ll give them that, but we had to ask twice for water and coffee refills. There also wasn’t very much parking. We had to park on the opposite side of the street and up a ways on the side of the road. Either way, it’s a great little spot… Just what you’d expect from a small town diner. Food everyone ordered looked good and the breakfast burrito was delicious.

It’s good but there was a lot of cheese in the western skillet. So if you love cheese it’s for you. Too much IMO. None the less the gravy was good. Huevos lacked any type of sauce. Kinda killed it for us. $14 a plate, so not your cheapest breakfast. Overall it didn’t live up to the hype for me, but this is a local staple, so check it out.
