The food is great. The cider is as good as you'll find -- both the stuff they make and the stuff they bring in. They do totally creative ciders -- along with all the old-school ciders you'd expect. And they make THE BEST HARD GINGER ALE on the planet. PERIOD. And if you don't really like cider, there is always a tap or two devoted to some exceptional beer or other. They've got 20 taps, right? You'll find something you love.

Oh, did I mention that the owners Guntram and Sam are a total pleasure?(Never mind that I've known them both for 30+ years.) And their staff are just as much of a pleasure. Lastly, it's the best place in Da Gorge to watch Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Soccer games, curling, fencing, and other more or less arcane sports.

Crush rocks.

06/02/2017 spent the day with my son in the lovely town of Hood River, OR. Met the owners of Crush Cider Cafe, what a discovery! Fantastic people, delicious flat bread lunch. Excellent education while sampling ciders. Looking forward to visiting again very soon.

The cider and food here is amazing and the owners are some of the most kind people you could meet. So thankful to have such a wonderful place just down the street.

This place has a great vibe. They've made it really pleasant inside and out, and their selection is crazy.
We did cider samplers which are priced the same as full glasses.
People around us were getting food and it looked fantastic...

The woman who runs the cafe is lovely, and the food is delicious. There is a wide variety of ciders, and they have really useful tasting notes so you can choose ones you are likely to enjoy. You can also get a flight of ciders!

Crush has been my #1 goto spot this summer for a few cold delicious adult beverages after a long Columbia Gorge area day hike. With 6-7 ciders produced by Crush plus another 10+ guest taps ranging from dry to sweet - and a few beer taps, there's sure to be something to suit everyone from a first timer to an experienced ciderist.

What really makes Crush a stand-out business is the friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable staff who are always genuinely happy to help you navigate the plethora of choices.

Since my hikes happen on Saturdays, I've also been lucky to enjoy scrumptious freshly made gorditas and tacos from the fine folks of Michoacán who have a grill set up on site to augment Crush's selection of flatbread items and other edibles.

I really wish I were able to go more often, but every time I do, owners Sam and Guntram and all of the team make me feel like a welcome friend. Thank you!

One of the best experiences I've ever had at a cafe/bar in my life. Amazing cider and food, very informative, and the nicest people you will ever meet. If you come to Hood River and don't stop here you're missing out.

One of my favorite place for cider and has great eats. Awesome owners and super nice staff. Always have something different going on and my kids love the board games. Worth it for sure!

Our favorite local haunt. Good cider, interesting, limited menu, and the owners are just good people. The patio is relaxing.

Great variety of ciders! Food was delicious as well. Just a few blocks off of the main drag, so that made it even more pleasant. Highly recommend.
