This place has amazing food & the service is outstanding. I absolutely love the Swedish Meatballs. Get it with the brioche bun and definitely add some of the jam and pickled onions to each bite! Sounds odd but you won't be sorry.

As someone who grew up in Denmark, I guess I'm less enamoured by the food here than many of the other reviews. Much of the food is more lunch than breakfast, and the Appleskiver are actually only ever served as an after dinner desert at Christmas, so you can imagine my confusion when looking at the menu at 7am.
That said, the food was ok, and the service was decent.

What a wonderful find! We were in Hood River for two days and ate here both mornings. Our waitress was super sweet and remembered us from the day before. My husband ordered the Danish pancakes both days. These are heavenly and the lemon curd dipping sauce is a dream. I ordered the Uunipuuro both mornings and the Swedish meatballs. I adore the Uunipuuro and dream about it daily. The Swedish meatballs are delicious and the sauce is very rich. Everything is fresh and delicious and the service is wonderful!

We love Broder Øst - we visit every fall during our annual apple picking outing. While we have not been to Sweden it certainly feels/tastes very authentic and certainly European. We love everything from their traditional breakfast boards to hashes, and Æbleskivers - soo good!
They also have traditional hot cocktails (some with coffee) which are a fun way to enjoy brunch on a crisp morning!

Perfect spot for breakfast. Great location, great service, great food. Watched several people walk away because of a 30 minute wait. It's worth the wait.
