Wish we didn't have a really bad experience.. but we did, unfortunately. We waited for our food to come but it never arrived.. the server said our order's ticket was never received and that's the reason. Our server didn't even apologize.. we were there for an hour! Whomp whomp whomppp. Good mocha though.

I came here Monday morning at 9am and only waited 15 minutes to be seated. I had the breakfast toast with mushrooms and topped with eggs. This was absolutely delicious. They're very generous with the mushrooms! In a stroke of genius I asked for an order of Danish pancakes to go. I had that as a snack during my hike! Also delicious, but probably best enjoyed when straight out if the oven. Service was very friendly.

Update: I came here the next day and tried the seasonal fritters because everyone kept raving about them. And wow, they didn't disappoint! If you're going to get something, get that! It's the perfect combination of sweet and savory, which I love! I arrived at 10:30 and was immediately seated. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're in town!

Wonderful service and excellent breakfast. The Danish pancakes were amazing! Great place to have breakfast if you're in Hood River.

Fabulous quaint Nordic Cafe for breakfast or lunch. I recommend the Glavlax on Skagen Shrimp Salad. It comes on a thick slice of Seeded Rye from WHITE SALMON BAKING COMPANY which was a hearty treat with butter and lingonberry jam.

We enjoyed sazeracs by the fireplace before the Hood River R/R holiday train ride.
The busy restaurant had a vibrancy that was pleasant to be around. The shared space with the adjacent hotel lobby is an inviting place.

Loved the food, coffee was great too, it's VERY busy on weekends so keep that in mind. My server was awesome! I got the Swedish pancakes, and they are definitely a classic choice.

Great place for meal. I highly recommend the smoked trout Swedish hash and Swedish pancakes. Our pancakes came way before the rest of the meal. (We asked for those to come after, since they are sweet).

Danish Pancakes had a hint of lemon that was a happy surprise. All parts of these meals were eggcelent, including the coffee and staff.

Absolutely delicious! The mushroom breakfast sandwich was super good, the mushrooms were fresh and had great flavor and the egg was perfect. The potato crepes were also delicious. The service was amazing. Our server, Erin, was great. Super happy and exited and genuinely happy to help.

Some of the best brunch I have had, went twice on a long weekend in hood river. Didn’t have anything I didn’t like but danish pancakes really tasted like Scandinavia. Highly recommend.
