Worst biscuits and gravy that I have ever had. I couldn't eat it. Biscuits were not fresh...I'm guessing day old? They were hard and very dry...not dry from over baking dry from being old. Gravy was canned. Very disappointed. I had stopped here 1 time before and had french toast which wasnt bad. This however was no good! Convenience store biscuits and gravy would have been and improvement.

I've eaten here many times, but this time was disappointing. My omelette was bacon and cheese. The bacon was large pieces and the cheese was non existent, not to mention it was over cooked (and I like my eggs done well). My friends shrimp and cheese omelette was finished in the microwave, so it was a little rubbery. I might give it another chance, I haven't decided yet. I expected better for a $40.00+ breakfast!

I love this cute little cafe!!! The food was excellent and the price was very affordable. Our waitress with the short brown/blondish hair was so so kind and very quick with getting our drinks, putting our food in, and refilling my coffee. I would definitely recommend!

Better value than the Brown Hen Cafe. Bacon is delicious.

The dirtiest place ever! Food safety is non existent at this cafe! Nothing is dated or covered. The ‘cold table’ in the kitchen area is very rarely at the correct temperature, making the food stored in it at a balmy 55 degrees at some times...not to mention the black mold and the old moldy towels used to sop up the dripping water. The burger patties and burger steaks usually turn a lovely grey/green color from not being properly covered or stored at the correct temperature. And blood from the opened ribeye steaks sits in puddles on the inside bottom of this non working cooler. The slightly precooked bacon sits out at room temperature for all day, uncovered...that’s a good 9 hours! None of the food is dated, or rotated with each delivery. Weather it be in the freezers or the black mold filled reach in. Biscuits are made every few days and barely covered with Saran Wrap at the end of the day. The ‘fresh’ pan is left with no cover on a shelf in the back. The butter bucket, which clearly states to keep refrigerated, is left on the dirty floor with a big spoon in the bucket and lid not closed. The back tech in cooler is also full of black mold and any pulled food from the freezer is not covered or dated. The floors get mopped MAYBE 3 times/week. I’ve never seen the owner even wash her hands. Take a look around and check it it for yourself. The counter where she cracks your eggs open, the Formica has split and is full of salmonella bacteria. The spouts on the soda machine aren’t cleaned daily so don’t be surprised if you get sick from even the soda! Summertime is great for ants! The owner isn’t afraid to just spray ant killer all over the kitchen, instead of actually cleaning it! If you order the chili browns, be aware that the green Chili’s were most likely stored in the opened, aluminum can she bought them in. Ask if the ham steaks are fresh, b/c she’s not afraid to serve them with mold growing on them! Oh! And back to the bacon...if she drops it on the floor after it’s been cooked...it’ll end up on your plate! They’re not concerned with Covid either. So if you don’t mind catching Covid, salmonella or good ole food poisoning this is your place!

When we research restaurants we always try and find the ones that are frequented by the locals and this was it. It is very small and we were lucky enough to get the last table but so many walked away because they were full. Service was a little slow but breakfast was superb. Really hot, cooked well and more than enough with coffee refills constant. The only issue we had was the corn read was very dried out. Highly recommended fir a great breakfast. 🍴🍞☕️

The place was like a small home town cafe. We live in California and we have a cafe like this one and my wife and I thought it was the best spot so far on our anniversary trip. I would gladly come back to this spot every time we travel up here. I will recommend this place to anyone.

Had breakfast March 5, 2020. Ordered biscuits and gravy. Was the worst excuse for gravy I have ever had, also highly seasoned with lots of pepper. The site I checked prior to going there showed $ for pricing. I disagree, their menu prices were very high. Whole place needs a remodel.

We went to this place because it was recommended by our hotel and that was a mistake! We waited for an hour as we watched the waitress serve all the regulars first all around us, including many that came in after us. Meanwhile, our children were extremely hungry! We mentioned this to the waitress and she didn't care at all, she was completely indifferent! Go to McDonald's, unless you know the locals!
