The Dunes Cafe

Very good breakfast! My wife and I came here for lunch, but the breakfasts looked so good we decided to have that instead. I had green chili browns, mostly because I had never heard of something like that and I'm a fan of Mexican food in general. It came with bacon and eggs as well. They were quite good, but not spicey. My wife had a 1/4 order biscuits and gravy, and it was also good. That portion size was just right for a small meal. The half order would be a normal size meal, and the full would be for someone that was really hungry.
Also, for anyone flying into the Florence airport, it's only about a mile away, so not a bad walk. Even easier if you have folding bikes or take advantage of the courtesy car.

Was the best bacon and eggs i have ever had. Very good service. The cook was amazing and the staff is as well

Ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, patty melt, and steak fingers. The fries were pretty good, but the steak fingers didn't come with any gravy, the burger didn't have any mushrooms, and the food was generally meh. Also, there's a mask mandate in Oregon, but not one of the employees was wearing a mask. Not cool.

The place wasn't really busy but the service was slow. It took way too long to take our breakfast order. It took too long to get the food. There was way too much gravy on the hashbrowns.
The women were nice but more interested in visiting than with doing their jobs. This stop took twice as long as it should have and we were traveling.

Great service and the quarter order biscuits and gravy were huge and delish! Husband said he had the best Denver omelet he ever had here. Nice atmosphere and comfortable. Good parking. Was able to park our truck and trailer in the parking lot.

Mediocre at best, tasteless white gravy and the hashbrowns were soggy. Seems to be a locals favorite though and was busy. Nothing stood out to make it compelling to go again

Just what it looks like: a small, busy local diner. Food is fine. Friendly service.

Little cafe with a big taste and friendly staff. I'm so grateful that our server had patience with my husband who has ALS and couldn't speak, that means a lot to both of us.

The food is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming and casual and the sever/cook/owner is impressive, they open at 5:30am and she had a full house before 6 a.m. She was soley running the whole show, doing everything by herself and she rocked it. Best country fried steak I have ever had 😍

I can't even tell you how great this place is. Seriously. I would come to Florence just to eat here. In fact, I have done this, and I'm glad I did. The shrimp omelet is divine. Come here. Eat. Leave full and happy.
