Just stopped by during the soft opening and we had a great visit! They were super friendly and helpful when asking for recommendations. I had a delicious cortado that I'll definitely be getting again soon. We also got the salted honey pie and banana cream pie, both really tasty. I've never had anything like the salted honey pie and it makes me eager to try the rest of their menu! Highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere, lots of covered outdoor dining I'm the breezeway area. A nice traditional menu of coffee & tea items and a good selection of quick food. I ordered a chai latte (blue lotus) that was good but too milky it could have had more chai to make it even better. I also ordered a egg biscuit that I really enjoyed. The biscuits were flaky and buttery and the egg and leek patty had a really great flavor.

Nothing is worse then getting a bad cup of coffee early in the morning…I’ve gone to Magpie twice. The first time my coffee was cold and gross, and my breakfast sandwich cost $10.. I went again this morning and ordered a chai tea latte which I didn’t think you could mess up but it was cold and had no flavor.. The coffee shop itself is very fun, and relaxing to be inside.. I hope they change the menu and prices. It would be nice to have a good coffee shop next to my apartment.

Really excited to enter this holiday season with a peppermint hot chocolate as we strolled the market. My friend and I each got one. Sadly they were lukewarm. We let them know, and though not terribly friendly about it, they replaced them. Yet again, lukewarm. We went back in, not wanting to complain, but wanting them to be aware that the steamer or thermometer might not be working correctly. The response from the barista was, like our drinks, Lukewarm “fine! Okay.” No offer to replace, or even acknowledgement that they would check their equipment or process. We took our $11.00 lukewarm cocoa home to reheat, and it was meh anyway. Expensive, poor service, overpriced. Won’t be back. Lots of other great options in Eugene, so perhaps Christmas 2021 can still be salvaged.

Really cute coffee shop. Friendly service. Coffee was decent, not great. My wife had the marmalade toast which was tasty, but $8 for one piece of toast? Total price gouge. We won’t be back.

The breakfast biscuit was large and flavorful. Added bacon witch was very good and the right craziness for me. House coffee was hot, with a medium-dark roast.

I loved the environment very calm and chill. My food and drink were amazing but my bf didn't know his eggs would literally be a softer boiled egg. Other than that amazing

Magpie is located in the newly renovated 5th Street Market.
Convenient walking distance from the Saturday market, Inn at the 5th, and Gordon's Hotel. This coffee shop serves coffee varieties as well as small hand pies, cinnamon rolls, avocado toast varieties, and my favorite - the egg biscuit!
The egg biscuit is stacked with an egg & leek fritatta, bacon & cheese on a house biscuit. Flaky, warm and filling. Just the rite bit of savory and salt, the square frittata offers consistent delicious bites! The coffee is average considering the substantial varieties in the area.
A great spot to bring first-timers to the area as it is surrounded by activities and open all-day. 7a-7p.

Cute little breakfast nook. Warm and inviting. Good service. We got coffee and egg biscuits. Food was good though a little cold. I'd still go back. It was quick and easy.

Had a Vanilla Caramelized Latte for just $5.00 for a 12 ounce size cup. It was very foamy and delicious. Worth it!
