This was our go to cafe to catch up after the Farmers market. Yesterday was our last visit. Staff (with the exception of one friendly woman) were sour faced and off putting. Music boomed so loudly we couldn't hear one another. Sad that the placed has become so unwelcoming.

Mocha wasn't made very well, it was barely luke warm. I shoulda said something but I didn't. I'm sure this doesn't reflect the coffee as a whole. Service and people were super nice though.

Love this place! Maybe the only shop in town that understands the difference between coldbrew and iced.

My husband is the coffee drinker so I had modest expectations of the food choices I might have in a coffee shop a step away from the Gordon Hotel in Eugene as I usually do not find much selection of breakfast items at small coffee shops when we are traveling.
I ordered a bowl, which even though they had a steady flow of customers on a Monday, the hostess offered to substitute a more generously cooked egg when I asked if the normally included "country eggs" were soft.
This is a small coffee shop with really nice selection of small and moderate sized portions served quickly. Given that, it's the best tasting breakfast I have ever had at such a venue. I really wish we had a Magpie Coffeeshop near us!
We will stop again when traveling through Eugene!

Got a latte and breakfast bowl…
Pic isn’t the best. Got it to go. It was delicious! The spices make this healthy concoction come alive! Highly recommend!

You get what you pay for . Most expensive biscuits and gravy / coffee I've ever had but my god they were delicious 😋. Everything is amazing but it's expensive so be prepared to drop a lil change .

Nice environment but, the food and service aren’t really that great. The baristas don’t seem to want to be there, so that was the initial vibe - then I ordered the (awful) cream soda espresso thing and a biscuit. The biscuit was burnt and musty and the egg tasted like something made from styrofoam with cheese layered over it. Spent a cool $20 on that and then the coffee shop is loud as hell because the acoustics are poor. Idk, not really the spot I think - plenty of other good coffee shops in Eugene. Even the bacon tasted like dog treats.

Located in a very nice area, covered and with outdoor seating. Coffee is great, and so are the brioche

This place is excellent! I was genuinely surprised by the great food and coffee! I would definitely recommend the selection of pies that they have! To eat, I got the creamy tomato soup with cheese toast, and it was definitely the best tomato soup I’ve had in quite some time! The egg biscuit and protein bowl are delicious as well!!!
