The service was wonderful. 2 very sweet waitresses helped us, and made sure that our coffee cups were never empty. It wasn't crowded at all, but we ate at 6:30am! As for the food, we had the ham and cheese omelet, oatmeal pancakes and a bowl of fruit.
The omelet took up 1/2 of a large plate and was filled with some of freshest vegetables that I've had in years. It was very delicious, and not covered in too much cheese. It was served with a side of sour cream and salsa, both very delicious!
The fruit was fresh and juicy and hit the spot!
The oatmeal pancakes were the best thing though! You get a taste of cinnamon and vanilla in each bite! It was served with maple syrup and boysenberry syrup. The boysenberry syrup add a perfect blend with the oatmeal.
Forgot to mention the price! It was a little over $30 for 2 plates and 2 coffees, which isn't a lot for a good hot home-cooked meal!
Me and my wife will definitely come back again!

Very good chicken fried steak. The gravy has a ton of flavor. Hashbrowns were cooked perfectly.

I had the French toast special-2pc bread, 2 bacon & 1 egg. Bacon was amazing. Husband had chicken fried steak, country hash browns, wheat toast. Also we found real butter available at all restaurants we visited. The gravy in the chicken fried steak was really good and flavorful. Service was top notch. Coffee cup was never empty and serves was quick.

We went here a few months ago when I first moved to Curry County. I was excited to go mostly because I had a craving for crab, but they were out of crab when we got there (I guess the crab order was bad when it arrived; the waitress was very apologetic about it). When we were seated, the waitresses were having trouble understanding their wait list and we got seated before a party that was definitely there before us, which was a little uncomfortable (there's a waitress there that's very young, like fifteen). The vibe of the restaurant is nautical, but it's more like tropical ocean, not PNW. I ordered the eggs benedict, which was somewhat disappointing. The hollandaise sauce was super thick and tasted almost like it had meat or something in it (very savory and hearty instead of tart, like usual hollandaise). My partner got the average sausage and two eggs with hashbrowns which was as expected. Not bad, but not necessarily great either. The only reason we would maybe go back here was the pricing was very reasonable, but the food wasn't really exciting enough to warrant revisiting.

Really nine sea food/breakfast dinner. Their dongenous crab eggs Benedict was so delicious.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. The manager here (Patty) and the main prep chef (Triana) have both come across as very disrespectful and immature despite them being two whole grown a** ladies. Triana specifically has made many rude remarks and comments towards workers. She even responded "Don't talk to me" when one of the workers said goodmorning. That's honestly something my 10 yr old sister would say as she's throwing a tantrum. To me, an enabler (the boss) is just as bad as the person engaging in vulgar commentary/actions. It's no surprise that so many people have been quitting lately (3 people in the last 2 weeks). TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES RIGHT!

Waitresses were nice and attentive. But our food took forever to come out and wasn’t very good. Will not be going back despite visiting Brookings often.
