Never been impressed with the service or burnt coffee. Lived in Bend for many years and haven’t been able to experience a ‘good day’ at Strictly Organic. Thankfully, there are lots of options in Bend for coffee and pastries.

Great service. My breakfast burrito came out fairly quick and it was delicious.

Good coffee, very good iced tea, and excellent breakfast food. We got the bronco burrito and the turkey bacon burrito. Both were excellent. Also, they have a large outdoor area that is partially shaded this time of year. Lots of dogs to visit too.

Super friendly service, great coffee and amazing breakfast burritos! Will definitely be back. Also the online ordering is really easy and convenient 😃

So strictly organic coffee has, in my opinion, the best espresso drinks in town. I’m quite picky about my coffee having grown up in the NW. The lowered rating is for other reasons, continue below. We visit strictly multiple times a week.
PROS-
Roasted in house
All organic
Doesn’t upcharge for plant milks (biggie! Thank you!)
Offers a vegan breakfast burrito starting at 6am which as far as I can tell, is the earliest in town (another biggie, thank you!)
They make their vegan soy sausage in House (seriously good!)
Their “A” team as we refer to them, the people we see most often (because as I mentioned we go multiple times a week) are very friendly and helpful, quality is usually good.
CONS-
Very inconsistent. Sometimes their breakfast burritos are DELICIOUS, sometimes their potatoes are raw or the overall quality is subpar. Sometimes their 20oz coffees are delicious, similar ratio of espresso to milk as other sizes, and then sometimes it’s almost like somebody added 2 shots extra and it’s almost undrinkable.
The matcha is really terrible. They use mizuba matcha which is GREAT quality matcha, but (at the least the employee who made ours last night) doesn’t know how to make matcha. we were constantly sipping chunks of matcha- I couldn’t even drink mine, it went to waste. Matcha is intended to be blended with a wooden whisk in a small amount of hot water to get a smooth consistency prior to serving. It was also way, way too hot for matcha, so it was incredibly bitter. Palate down the street is a much better option for matcha. Same high quality stuff, but they make it properly.
Also, matcha is excluded from the available drinks you can redeem as your free drink once you’ve spent X amount of dollars with them. Really?
“B team” as we call them, delivers lower quality service and lower quality drinks, pretty much without fail every time we go. They seem overwhelmed and really not very happy to be there or be helping you.
Lack of customer service- as you can see they don’t respond to or care to reach out to their negative online reviews... I’ve emailed twice with VERY friendly feedback, and have never received any kind of response. The owners/whoever is in charge of checking their email seemingly doesn’t care at all about loyal local clients who continuously support them. That’s a huge bummer to me. Bad business. :/ your customers keep you in business. But the vibe I’ve gotten from the lack of response is a little “high and mighty” which won’t serve them well.
CONCLUSIONS
best espresso drinks in town and they don’t charge for plant milk, which is a huge win. Very high quality coffee, but never get the matcha. Walk down the street to palate for that.
Roasted in house and organic. Love that they offer a (usually delicious) vegan breakfast option so early in the morning, with homemade soy sausage no less. An affordable, high quality go to spot for us. Love the online order option.
It is a little difficult for me to support them as much as we do when there is clearly a high-level disregard for customer service and care. Can be very inconsistent in quality, service and ratios.
Sometimes we are thrilled, sometimes we are disappointed. I’m always disappointed by their owners or managements lack of care though.

Hi,
My car was dead and an employee helped me jump our car today. She asked if I had cables. Yes! I did. She was Strictly Awesome.

I have been here a bunch of times and have generally had a great experience. Today we ordered in the drive thru and when pulling up to the window was greeted by an extremely rude person. I kindly asked how much do I owe you and his response was. I assume there is a name or something you are wanting to pay for. I left. I then called and spoke to Lee Johnson as the lead/manager. He wouldn’t even listen to feedback and said I would be best to call back Monday. I’d like to be clear - this is a service industry and these folks need some training on what that means. I will call back Monday and I will never visit this company again. I hope the ownership sees this and takes note of how their brand is represented. If it were my brand I’d want to ensure my teams were reflective of my brand.

Best breakfast burritos in town! There is no equal. Awesome, engaged staff. Online ordering is a huge plus

I love their vision and mission. I think they have some of the best tasting coffee in town and I usually buy it from local grocery stores for home use as well. Their food is also absolutely amazing. I love their breakfast burritos and wraps and they always have great allergy-free options.

We’ve always enjoyed this coffee. Unfortunately some of the staff has ruined it for us :/ one girl was very rude thorough our walk in and walk out. She could have just had a bad day - but it’s important for a business to always serve their customers with a smile and a warm spirit. It’s disappointing! Hopefully the atmosphere will change!
