Insomnia Coffee Co - Tanasbourne

Best coffee shop in town. They are kind, make delicious coffee, and have THE BEST sweets. From the peanut butter cookies, scones, to cinnamon rolls.

Bizarre experience of going in on a Saturday afternoon and the Cafe was out of decaf. The cappuccino was passable and an overall disappointing experience.

The barista was extremely friendly, and made my morning. Even put a heart in my mocha. Love this place !

Don't be like me.
-Don't expect quick service.
-Dont wait till your drink arrives to prep your busicuit.

I made the mistake of waiting for my drink to eat my biscuit. Was not expecting a 30min wait. Was not aware the biscuit had to be prepped. Needless to say, it was...very messy to eat

Was the food quality worth it?
Sure, coffee was decent. Biscuit was still warm when I ate it.

Atmosphere:
Very homey. Liked the atmosphere. Staff was friendly but busy.

Possible advice to staff:
-call out names louder, saw some ppl miss their drinks
-seperate the butter/jam/honey from biscuit bag.

Would I go there again: of course

I like Insomnia coffee, but I have felt the staffs here are less friendly than the crews at the Hillsboro location.
Yesterday, it took long to get my coffee. There was no one in front of me when I ordered, so I expected to get my coffee soon. Also I needed to get back to my work soon, so I asked politely how long the wait would be because I was about to give up on my coffee and leave if the wait was gonna be still too long. One staff was apologetic and I felt sorry for him, but another staff stared at me as if I asked such a rude thing to them. It seemed like there was a trainee, and the flow was slower than usual. I understood, kept waiting patiently.The unfriendly staff finally handed my coffee to me, and I thanked and said I was sorry for rushing, but she kept staring at me and didn't say anything.
I decided to go to Hillsboro location next time I feel cravings for Insomnia coffee!

Solid iced coffee drinks. The summer eclipse was pretty tasty. The cold brew was a little more bitter than im used to. The staff was friendly and the line moved pretty fast. Definitely a nice alternative to Starbucks or Dutch.

Always love the atmosphere here. Yummy coffee and tea, as well as snacks and desserts.
I tried an Apricot Iced Green Tea with honey. Yum!

I love this place, it has a great vibe good coffee and nice staff! I also really enjoy the great treats and all the local art that is diplayed. My only complaint is the temperature!!! It’s always so cold, it makes it difficult to stay there and enjoy this really great coffee house. If the thermostat was running properly I would get coffee and relax here everyday.

Absolutely love this place. I think it's the best coffee place in the area. I originally came here because I love a matcha green tea latte. Unless I go to Portland...it's impossible to get this drink in this area. The other drinks here are amazing as well. I've almost kept going every day here. So I've tried most drinks. They are all amazing and not super sweet. Which I love. I can't stand super sweet drinks. So the sweetness to all the flavoured drinks are perfect. The staff there is super nice and chill. The atmosphere is amazing. I love the decorations and the feel of the place. Oh and the food(bagels) are quite good. As long as I live in this area I'll probably keep going here :)

Latte 12oz is reasonable. Coffee beans was a little on the darker profile/ notes than I'd prefer. Heart cafe Downtown OR was comparatively more smooth.
