Tropical Restaurant & Bar

I don't think anyone who writes this place as a good review cooks food for themselves, or knows how to cook good tbh. The staff is friendly, and I like the lady who served me my drinks (the drinks were good) , other than that the food was okay. I liked their dumplings, but it was clear some of the chefs didn't know what they were doing, and i don't understand why some things are even considered meals that are on the menu. - I'm willing to try them again for a more thorough review, but from what I've experienced so far, it's not the "hidden gem" I was told it was.

Great atmosphere & service! Food was delicious. I like this place.

I ordered my food five star spicy, but for Thai food I found it was more of a one or two star spiciness.

I really enjoyed the food and the take out option seemed pretty covid safe. It was a little expensive but worth it overall.

Food was excellent, spicy without being too much. Service was prompt, food was perfect!!

The best thing about this restaurant is their service. Our waitress was so friendly, made suggestions and was very attentive. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and when it came it was overcooked, greasy, and tasteless. No salt at all in the batter. Our server took it off our ticket and we decided to skip the appetizer. The food was okay. I ordered the cashew chicken. I'm not sure what made it cashew chicken other than the 5 or 6 whole cashews on it. My dad ordered the pad see yu with the seafood and again the calamari was overcooked. The shrimp was also overcooked but the salmon and scallops were very tasty. The portions are quite small. It wasn't terrible but it certainly wasn't good. Won't be back.

The food was absolutely amazing! The portions were good for the price. They let you customize spiciness and I thought that 3 was just average, I was wrong. If you're not use to spicy foods, go for 0 or 1. 😂 The flavor was so amazingly good, the burning punishment was worth every wonderful bite. 10 out of 10, would eat here again!

Ordered the Pad Thai #3 , food was delicious, and staff was extremely attentive. Calming atmosphere. Great place for lunch.

So happy the dining room has opened up again! All the food has always been incredible I usually get the red curry but tonight I changed it up and tried their new cashew chicken dish I asked for a spice level of four because I love it spicy unfortunately it was extremely lacking and spice and flavor. My brothers yellow curry was way overcooked and extremely dry. This is the first time out of all the visits something was wrong so we will definitely be back. I know restaurants are suffering trying to get their cooks and wait staff back to work and train new staff for those that did not return.

I will preface this by saying this is my individual experience mostly from a miscommunication between the staff and likely not a true reflection of the restaurant itself, especially when watching other patrons come and go from the restaurant while we waited.

It took much longer than expected for someone to just bring us a water. I had to walk to the bar for a wine and cocktail because it didn't seem that anyone was going to ask if we needed anything else. The staff took our order fairly early, but after waiting about an hour for our appetizer, I decided to ask about it and it seems that the order had been misplaced and hadn't even gotten started yet. Once this was realized, it didn't take long for it or our main entrées to come out. The food was decent but the cocktails were pricey for the quality. Overall, I think it may be some time before I return.
