Shades of Brown Coffee & Art

I consider myself a true coffee aficionado. Shades of Brown makes the best coffee in Tulsa possibly Oklahoma. Their espresso is buttery not bitter. I usually get a macchiato(not the fake kind made at other places) and it’s amazing. I get no flavors because their espresso taste so good. Hip atmosphere and located on Brookside.

Shades of Brown is my wife's favorite place to get a "sweet treat" as she calls it. Solid coffee in a laid back retro atmosphere. Always friendly people to visit with as well.

Staff was amazing! Had some papers to work on and stoped in from 8pm to 10pm. Staff was very friendly. Dairy free options! Great atmosphere. Cool mugs. Nice plants and lighting. Cool music. And friendly atmosphere, even making a few friends before leaving.

I love the vibe in this place. This is the type of place you can walk in & spend an afternoon doing an assignment or catching up with someone & be comfortable doing it. They are super helpful too. I didn’t want the usual, they asked me questions, found out what I wouldn’t like & what I would & they nailed it.. not to mention, it’s absolutely gorgeous inside

This is always my stop on my route while I'm in Tulsa, have been visiting this spot since I lived here... Get the grasshopper!! Some good things never change and shades is always that calming and relaxing experience that is worth it for me! I'll see yah next time!

Amazing coffee and pastries 😋 customer service is always great. Plus the atmosphere the place as a whole generates is warm & cozy & comfy.

Actually coffee is not that great, on top of it I ordered an iced cortado and got an iced latte. Apparently someone got snarky with my friend who picked it up. I did, in fact, want a drink that was equal parts espresso and milk, NOT a full cup. I knew what I was ordering, that's what I wanted, but the coffee tasted gross so it wasn't worth going back to have fixed.
