Love this place!
Friendly staff, very chill environment, good music (lofi, r&b, jazz, indie).
The blue room in the back is a nice quiet place for studying.
Love that they have a standing height bar (I sit too much so it's nice to have the option to stand and work on my laptop).

Lydia makes the Best turmeric streamers!! (Aka: "stay gold") it's a great option if you don't want the caffeine and don't want something super sweet

Other than a dubious name *tongue in cheek* this place serves a lot of great coffees. It has an interior vibe that is perfect for creative types or those looking for a place to chill.

Staff has always been helpful and great.

Can't go wrong.

A nice cozy coffeehouse! I love the different drinks they offer and all the spaces here. The mugs are adorable and available for purchase. It’s a Tulsa favorite for a reason.

This place is the bomb! Authentic pours and the best espresso I’ve had. The Turkish Delight is steamed milk with a hint of pistachio and hazelnut. Amazing! The atmosphere is super cozy. Velvet sofas, comfy chairs and tables with a bohemian flair. French music lulling in the background. Love this place!

Good coffee and great atmosphere. The cortado in particular was very good. I recently did a tour of more than a dozen coffee shops in Tulsa, and this was one of my favorites. It can be a bit slow when it gets crowded, since there's only one barista working at a time, but if you're not in a hurry, I think it's worth the wait. When I end up in Tulsa again, I'll definitely be dropping in.

I stopped in here after a doctors appointment and I absolutely love it! The employees are friendly, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, and they have so many great options.
I can't wait to come back with my husband and I definitely am going to start studying here as it is busy but not overly loud.
Super happy to have stumbled upon it!

What a delightful cafe. Loved the selection of art and books to purchase. I bought a locally printed poetry book, just wonderful.
The matcha frozen drink with strawberries was beyond delicious.
Immaculate vibes, tons of seating inside and out.

Will definitely visit again when I’m back in Tulsa.

Great local coffee shop in Tulsa’s brookside neighborhood. Good espresso, good chai, great seasonal menu. As a remote worker and former grad student, I camp out here a bit and have made good acquaintances with the baristas and community. Love seeing the art.

I love Shades of Brown. It's my go-to and hands down best coffee shop in Tulsa. The baristas are personable and efficient. I also love the local artist they support too. Check it out!

This place has character. It is unique, artsy, and laid back. The baristas are quick, courteous, and helpful. I had a hot mocha to stay and it was served in a beautiful hand crafted cup. The owner makes the cups and all the fried pottery items you see in the shop. She even sells them for those looking for a unique local art souvenir.

Also, they feature local artists in their shop as well. The one that was there when I visited is a traditional hand print artist. She makes her own extremely detailed stamps and hand rolls the ink onto them and stamps the image onto high quality paper.

The coffee was great and smooth. The foam on top looks beautifully crafted and the little muffins and cookies are delectable.

Overall, I will definately be coming back here.
It was a great experience and I highly reccomend you stop in. Starbucks has nothing on the unique charm of this place. Dont waste money on big chains. Buy your morning pick me up here, it tastes better by far.
