Our food was incredible. The wait staff go above and beyond. Katy Reddick is truly a genius--best bread, donuts, spreads, and preserves. I did get an off the menu sandwich--the focaccia bread sandwich--it was the best sandwich I've ever had.

Last night we had the pleasure of trying out this beautiful restaurant. We wanted to personally thank the head chef (Ivan) and sous chef (Jason) for our meals. We had the Mac 'n' Cheese, Charcuterie board, Ribeyes, crab sticks, shrimp, and the 7-layer cake for dessert. We also paired our meal with the 2020 Treana Cab. Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully displayed. Our waitress, Nina, was perfectly attentive so that we were well cared for, but still able to maintain our privacy. She was so polite and knowledgeable. Overall we had a delightful experience and can't wait to return!

Not good, service was some of the worst I've had in the city. Cool patio upstairs. Go for drink & eat somewhere else

We had high hopes, but it was a huge disappointment, and we gave them the benefit of the doubt big time, but everyone hits their limit after almost two hours. City & State is very pretty, but absolutely not worth it. We sat down about 8:20. 30 minutes or more and we had the cocktails we ordered. We waited at least a half hour from when we sat down to order food. After almost an hour, we were still waiting. After being promised it would be out in 5-10, it was clear there was a problem. 25 minutes later I asked to cancel our food. The owner or manager came out to let us know they had a water line break and we’d be next….then about ten minutes later our server let us know there was a 20-top that backed them up. Okay then.

Our food finally arrived - with the appetizer arriving three seconds before my side, then my entree then my friends’ entrees. They didn’t have the entree I originally selected, but it happens. The food we did receive was cold, except for my chicken which was blazing hot.

My boyfriend had to go to the bar to order another round of drinks, which came out incorrect and after a delay.

Whatever the reason was, things were disappointing. We won’t be back. It’s just not worth it. There’s a lot of good options in automobile alley, and this isn’t one. Save your money and time and head to the Parlor.

OMG started off with the bread board which consisted of blueberry scones, cinnamon rolls, and zucchini bread and different butters and spreads and it was so freaking good. then shared the shrimp and grits, potatoes, and avocado toast- holy moly. i am so full because i couldn’t stop eating. the flavors are incredible and the food came out hot. topped it off with a couple mimosas and it was perfect! lauren was our server and was very nice and attentive. chef ivan and his crew are awesome. will be back for SURE. 10/10 recommend.

I generally do not leave google reviews, but felt this was necessary. First off, I love Oklahoma City and I love and support our local restaurants. My wife and I purposely waited a month or two for this place to settle in before we came to try it out and give an honest assessment. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday night and we were slightly confused to see only 3 other tables of roughly 4 people each there. The entire night, there was approximately 8-9 vacant tables the entire evening. We saw maybe 4 people go to the upstairs section. We figured we would be able to get our food quickly as a result. No joke, we waited 2 hours for our entrees to come out. Food came out at 9:15pm, 3/4 of us ordered hamburgers. Burgers were OK, not worth of the $18 price tag. Our lone friend who got the salmon ate 3 bites and couldn’t muster the desire to consume anymore. The other extremely odd thing about this visit was our server basically told us prior to ordering our entrees (again we waited 2hrs for our food) that half of the entree items were “garbage”. Not assuring when you only have 8 things on the entree menu and 2 are $18 hamburgers! We spent $130 on 2 hamburgers, 2 drinks and 2 appetizers we split with our friends! With as many other great food options in Okc, I just can’t in my wildest dreams ever fathom coming back to this restaurant, and I work 2 blocks from there. The only positive experience from this place is the seating and decor is nice, and the drink we had was actually pretty good. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless your ideal night out involves waiting an excess of 2hrs (on a slow night!) for a hamburger that looks like what you could get at Tucker’s for double the price. Again, I love Okc and I love local businesses and restaurants and support them wholeheartedly, but there is just not really a way to justify spending your hard earned money here when you can go next door to PARLOR, Barrios, or Halls Pizza, wait a fraction of the time and get a much tastier and quality product.

Definitely do not go to this place especially if you are having a special occasion. I had my birthday party on Friday in this place it was my first time trying this place and was really hoping for a great time with my friends. These people made me have the worst day in my life. The customer service was horrible. They did not offer water to everyone they were late bringing silverware and plates. They did not have paper napkins. They had a very very bad attitude towards us they had no absolute smile on their face. We ordered drinks and they did not bring them all they only brought us two drinks out of nine. My friends had to walk to the bar to get their drinks. Ok, we ordered food after 20-30 min the y came let us know they were out of meat and I was like wowwwwww!!!! My friends had to order burgers with fries which was a shame. This place was a real shame. I had headaches from thinking about that for two days!!!!!!

Perfect restaurant for larger or small parties. Trendy atmosphere and friendly service. If you’re going to complain about price then don’t go. You’re paying for a great experience. Food was full of flavor and plenty of hand made cocktails to choose from. Good job OKC!

It's just ok, you are paying more for ambiance. The Charcuterie Board was very mediocre, the amount and types of cheese was not impressive. The meatballs appetizer was a little over cooked. The short rib bolognese was just ok. The staff was great and very helpful, it's a trendy place but the food is very mediocre.
