The Well

This has been the best kept secret in Lancaster! For anyone who can sneak away from work during the week this is the place to go for delicious, wholesome food and the best coffee in Lancaster. The philosophy behind this little restaurant is one of the most compelling aspects of it. It was established to be a gathering place just like wells were once upon a time. It is a place of friendship, peace, and community - these are the first words that come to mind to describe the ambiance of this family owned restaurant. For some reason every time I have been in The Well I have felt loved and accepted as I am. That is quite an accomplishment in a world so torn by division and judgment. So, go there and see for yourself the good things that are in store for you.

Visited for the first time, ordered chai smoothy and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly everything was homemade. Got order to go but eating area looked very inviting. This place had a very unique vibe to it and if they have gift cards would be excellent for the hard to buy for, health councious person on your list.

The Salted Honey Carmel Latte was the best coffee I have ever had. The Curried Tune Pita was wonderful! The side salad was fantastick!. Atmosphere was so comfortable yet fun. And the staff the best.

Drove an hour away to have my FAVORITE food that doesn't make me feel guilty!! Sooooo good!! Family friendly and such an awesome space!! Love the staff and unique quirks to the store! Recommend to everyone!! Our family will always be customers!!

6 of us visited for lunch and had a variety of bowls and smoothies. We are generally a difficult group with vegans, vegetarians, gluten sensitive, and meat eaters. We all thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered and will certainly be back sometime.

Best kale salad ever 😋. I am very sad when they close for a week between the seasons. But get excited for the changes.

Excellent food, with several vegan options. The vegetable and fruit juices were tremendous. Would definitely recommend if you're passing through Lancaster.

I ordered a smoothie bowl to go. They put it in a paper box and the smoothie was the consistency of water.. making for a soggy box. Also, not a soul except myself had a mask on. These employees should be wearing masks. Won’t be back.

Amazing food, awesome atmosphere, family run and owned. Great place to bring the kids with a custom built playland, and even a little local shopping too! I would eat here everyday if I lived here!

Excellent place to relax while enjoying delicious, healthy food. The smoothies, which are my favorite, are made with healthy ingredients and are exceptionally tasty. The staff makes you feel right at home and love the Lord.
