Bent Tree Coffee Roasters

Went to Bent tree for the first time today. With all the hype, I was super excited to try. I am not sure if the beans were burnt or something, but it was by far THE worst cup of coffee I’ve ever had. Both me and my friend had to toss it out because we couldn’t bear the taste. It was super metal tasting and absolutely awful! For two people who love coffee this was definitely a disappointment.

I love Bent Tree. It's my top 5 in the nation - better than a lot of the coffee we have in Portland. Go there and try it out! Their roasts are great, and their brewing is (almost) always spot on!

This place is a staple every time we visit the Akron area. We frequently get the coffee shipped to us out of state and drink it nearly every morning. Cute merchandise, friendly staff, and (of course) an amazing variety of roasts.

They are very nice people! I was just picking up a doordash order and they asked me if I wanted a drink also so I got iced coffee and it was very good! I went to pay for it and they would not let me so I gave them a tip at least! And they were trying not to let me do that either but I insisted! They are great people here I will definitely be back!

Always kind and enthusiastic staff. Love smelling the beans roasting at their roastery. Small coffee shops are important and this one is the best in Kent.

If you are a connoisseur of coffee or teas, this is the place to be. If you like trying very unique seasonal drinks that you won’t find anywhere in the Midwest, this is the place to be. They also have a very good selection of coffee beans you can take with you, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful if you need help choosing. Plus it’s in Kent, plenty of places to visit and trails to walk.

I buy all my beans here. I'm a total coffee nerd and some of their stuff is really great. I sometimes stop in for some french press coffee too, they always have two to choose from on a given day. Pick a light Ethiopian if they have it, especially the adado. Quality place with a friendly staff. I'll keep coming back.

Bent Tree is a fantastic place. Coffee is stellar, the staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The place just has a great vibe. It is gem.

After living in Chicago for three years, I moved back to Ohio and felt major quality-coffee-withdrawal. Bent Tree Coffee Roasters quickly became my go-to source for a great brew. Bent Tree is up to par with some of my favorite shops in the big city, such as Intelligentsia, Ipsento and The Wormhole.

Hands down best espresso around! The syrups are all made in-house, so no nasty chemicals and dyes. There are lots of non-dairy options, so the most high-maintainance peeps (myself included) are satisfied. The baristas are the coolest. The owners are super committed to providing the best coffee out there. Mission accomplished!
