Have been buying direct from BentTree for several years now. Coffee varieties and quality all amazing. Customer service is above and beyond the expected. Shipments are correct and arrive quickly. First class operation!

I visit Kent to see family and love the coffee here. Always get a pound to take and last me till my next visit. Wish it was a bigger place with some sofas to hang out but, it's still a cool place.

Bent Tree has it all: Excellent coffee & espresso drinks, outstanding baristas, high quality merchandise, and a cozy atmosphere. One of my favorite things about this place is that as much as they can, they source their fun latte ingredients and pastries from other local businesses! If you are ever in Kent, Ohio, Bent Tree is a must.

Had a meeting that I was hosting today and I wanted to provide a group of 6 people hot cocoa and green tea (their request). Instead of pointing me toward ordering each beverage in bulk which would have been too much for our group size and too expensive, the staff prepared four cups of each in a small box that they put together to make carrying it easier. The cost? Half the price of what it could have been. This is my first interaction with Bent Tree Coffee after having frequented other coffee shops in town, but I will definitely be returning here. This is a great place.

I’ve always had a fantastic experience at this coffee shop. I consider it the best one in Kent. if you want to support a local business in kent this would be well worth your time. The staff is friendly, it smells lovely and they roast their own beans. Also they have an awesome selection of coffee to go with anyone’s tastes.

Literally the worst coffee I've ever had. No joke. Maybe since I bought it in a store, it was old or stale? I purchased the Espresso Roast. It wasn't dark, it wasn't strong and barely had any flavor. It tastes like 3 day old coffee that's been reheated in a microwave. And for $11 a bag, I'm pretty upset and of course I can't get my money back. Nope.

This is the best coffee roaster in Ohio I have tried hundreds of coffees from all over the world and bent tree is always equal to better than anything I’ve tried. If you live in the northeast Ohio area this is the only coffee you should be buying. They also just happen to have the friendliest and best staff of any coffee shop I’ve been to!

This is the best place for coffee in Kent and Northeast Ohio and probably Ohio and maybe the world (okay, maybe an exaggeration, but only because there are lots of nice places out there).
Super high quality roasted beans, hot coffee, espresso beverages and tea. Plus, lots of extras available for purchase like delicious baked goods, honey, handmade mugs, etc, pretty much all locally sourced.
On top of all that, everyone who works there is a delightful human being. Eagerly awaiting for when the 'rona is behind us and I can hang out there again.

One of the best coffee shops in Ohio and even beats other places in big cities that try and be "third-wave". They are very consistent and Ive always had a dialed shot of espresso. You can tell they are all passionate. Their beans are always great and freshly roasted!
