Ghostlight Coffee (Midtown)

Very friendly staff, excellent coffee and great pastries. I would have never known it was all vegan had they not told me.

My family and I frequent this newest Ghostlight location and are ever so grateful for the delicious + filling vegan options! The beverages and baked goods are as tasty as ever. The environment is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. My five-year-old has made new friends with the lovely staff who make every visit a fun one. :) Always a fantastic experience!

Horrible. Team is so incompetent. Waited 20 min for two lattes. Super rude barista. Never ever coming back! I was the only one in there too and still waited 20 min. And No. I don’t want my money back. I will just make sure not to come back! I will also tell everybody I know how pathetic this place is. Hope you shut down soon. It is just a waste of space.

Full monty bagel was great. Coffee was a little strong but I like a weaker coffee. The smore's pastry look good but was hollow except a very small bit of filling. The staff was friendly and helpful! Buggiest peeve no straws for cups.

Great environment, very clean with very nice staff and great customer service. Great selection of drinking including coffee and herbal teas. The vegan lumberjack tart was very tasty and filling. Overall great experience. I ate the tart to fast to take a pic!

If I could give ZERO STARS I would! The staff is rude and presumptuous! After I spent my money, sat down and ate I was accused of an unthinkable act! WHICH I DID NOT DO! RACIST MUCH?! BBB will be called! You have NOT heard the last of this matter!! I AM A HUMAN BEING NOT A SAVAGE! I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN, and will convince my 1000s of LOCAL FOLLOWERS TO DO THE SAME! AND FURTHERMORE, YOU NEED TO TAKE DOWN THAT BLACK LIVES MATTER SIGN DOWN, YOU HYPOCRITES!

I ordered a ton of stuff from here and even when I was no longer hungry I had to keep snacking. The coffee was fab. The apple braid pastry was delightful. The breakfast biscuit was gorgeous. Thanks for safely delivering delicious food in a time of sadness. It was a big highlight of my trip to Dayton. I'll be back for more.

Ghostlight took their strong foundation of great coffee, amazing baked goods, and super friendly staff to a new level with their second location, Ghostlight Midtown. This included with an amazing new food menu (even vegan options) and a beautifully designed spot, Ghostlight Midtown a must visit. Truthfully, it is different from their original location, but so incredibly complimentary to not only Ghostlight itself, but to the city of Dayton as well. Tons of comfortable seating and big amazing windows. The only issue is deciding which location to visit! Thank You Ghostlight for setting the bar high with this project!

Food is fantastic and very reasonable prices. Staff is a hit and miss. Some are wonderful others not so much. My husband and a staff member met eyes and he said excuse me to her but she turned and talked to another staff member. The gentleman that brought us our food was kind and helpful. The women that took our order was neither welcoming or unwelcoming, maybe just exhausted from the morning rush? Overall though the environment of the location left me feeling suffocated, which is the biggest reason for my review. It was not welcoming or comfortable. I felt like they wanted you gone the moment you walked in based on the wifi hours and the instructions on where you can and cannot sit with a laptop. I understand it is for the comfort of everyone but it was more of a turn off than welcoming and I wasn't even using the wifi or a laptop. I would come back, but not on a Saturday morning which means with their hours - I won't be back for a long time.

This one has food, the other one does not have anything but pastries. Inventive menu. Fun coffee and sandwiches. We had a larger crowd and there were no tables to accommodate our group.
