Ghostlight Coffee (Midtown)

My daughter moved to the area and wanted to visit this place. The family came up to visit so I took everyone there. OMG had to wait forever for our coffee. Like +15 minutes...🤔.

Coffee and atmosphere were great staff was pretty good but didn't take any extra steps. Will certainly return.

I struggled about making this review as the staff are kind . However they are sllllooowwww . I keep hoping they might change but time and time again I wait 20 -30 minutes for one latte . Worse yet is there seems to be little awareness from the staff to pick up the pace at busy times. Its not a staffing issue as there are like 5 people there each time . The coffee and food are great however the service is below standard in terms of wait time.

Fast service, excellent coffee, amazing faire. The ghost-tart is like a hulled out pop-tart. Even the breakfast sandwiches are delicious! I recommend going there and parking at the rinse parking lot right next door because the 6 or 7 spots available out front quickly fill up.

I have visited this location multiple times and the service is always great. The food is delicious- breakfast sandwiches on ciabatta , yummy muffins, homemade bagels- excellent Chai latte!
The staff is friendly and professional - The shop is clean and atmosphere is peaceful even in busier moments .
Why spend your hard earned money on chain or fast food establishments when you get homemade quality like this ?!

This is the second location for Ghostlight (original on Wayne Ave.) This one has a food menu and the same great pastries and coffees/teas that make Ghostlight its beloved self. Plenty of space and it carries the vibe of community and productivity all around. Definitely worth a stop if you have a moment and wanna check it out!

The pastries are almost all vegan and they have a lot of amazing vegan breakfast options!!! THE BAGELS are omg the best bagels I’ve had, super light and airy! The matcha latte was mid (wasn’t ceremonial grade). And the staff was a little off putting and seemed distant and unfriendly at times. Besides that- the food was top teir for sure!

The location, atmosphere and staff were great. The food not so much. The spice muffin was good though it lacks a punch of spice and was a little dry. I ate the farmers breakfast sandwich. There are no descriptions of the sandwiches so I just chose one and went for it. The bread is, I believe, a biscuit. At first I really liked it but toward the middle it was gummy. It had chicken on it which I never would have chosen. Again it was ok but not really good. The aoli was good. And the sandwich was nice and hot so that was good. The hot chocolate was not good. It tasted like sweet syrup, not any chocolate notes at all. Coffee is ok. I'm not sure if we will try again or not.
