This place is so cute! Very cozy atmosphere and really good food/drinks. (What I'm assuming is) the owner was super duper friendly and I noticed he went out of his way to make everyone feel at home :)

Staff was nice, but coffee was watery and tasteless. Somehow the bathrooms were more clean than the rest of the entire shop.. There was spider webs, inches of dust on everything, stained decor, crumbling walls, etc.

Quaint coffe shop with a simple inviting atmosphere. Good coffee and attentive staff.
The only thing I wish they would offer unsweetened alternative milk.

I saw someone mention the coffee is watery and tasteless, and I came to say the same. I ordered a Bailey's and Coffee which was just watered down whiskey. I couldn't finish it. The patio seating was nice, and I dug the atmosphere. They also offered my dog a pup cup, which she loved.
But
I noticed they were hiring and inquired about it out of curiousity while I waited for my coffee. The owner didnt answer any of my questions about their employee benefits, but instead tried to explain what a barista was. I currently work as a barista, so that was weird. When I asked again about their benefits he explained that there were none, and then tried to convince me that due to my age I dont NEED healthcare. The notion that people dont NEED healthcare is absurd, and him offering me a $100 stipend for the year in lieu of health insurance is a joke. I'm a 26 year old with a wife who is self employed. I'm extremely grateful for my job (that pays $4 more an hour than this one, plus tips) and also offers me AND my wife much needed healthcare. My advice to the owner is to respect your workers, they keep your shop afloat.
Dont forget to tip your barista no matter how watered down the coffee is, they're not being payed enough.

My husband and I are visiting from IL and decided we were going to try a different coffee shop each day, so far this is my favorite. I had the pumpkin hazelnut latte and it was delicious. Decor is rustic and quaint.

When I’m missing Northeast Ohio, it’s places like this I’m aching for. The coffee was great, but listen, you can smell the way the rain off Lake Erie has seeped into the bricks of this place over the century+ that it’s been here. It’s quiet and unassuming, but it’s an absolute treasure, and I’m glad we stopped in here.

My new favorite coffee shop in Cleveland, the atmosphere is very cozy. Staff is very friendly and what I ordered- iced mocha, egg sandwich on croissant, and the almond Danish were all delicious. Prices are very reasonable too.

What a great shop! They made a specialty drink for me. Ask for the S’more!

Coffee and sandwiches were fine. Shockingly, one of the staff who so warmingly greeted all the other customers doesn’t, or perhaps pretends not to understand my accent. Having lived in US for several years, I’ve never experienced such unwelcoming behavior before. The other staff did apologize awkwardly. Thank you.

Excellent, and, that, in a part of town in which it's difficult to shine. With all Ohio City has to offer, including some really great coffee, Koffie is a great choice. The staff here is super-friendly, and the coffee is different than any other spot I've been in Cleveland. It's a very European-style taste and an atmosphere that's disturbingly close to German and Austrian cafés. Their espresso beans are also great for home use, which isn't always the case even when a spot serves great drinks in house.
