City Roast Coffee

Very disappointed in my experience here as a first time customer. I came to get expertise and assistance in refilling my tea collection where I was planning on purchasing at least 16oz of multiple different teas. I understand I was late to arrive at 3:45 with closing at 4pm but was met with an rude and abrupt no more customers unless you’re getting drip coffee. I had asked if I can get loose leaf tea and she rolled her eyes and shrugged me away. Other vendors accepted our business after that. Unless that’s what City Roast Coffee policy is then I’ll understand but I will not be returning.

Ordered a double cappuccino received a latte. Learn how to make a proper cappuccino please! It was awful to be completely honest.

Got a cappuccino here and it was absolutely delicious. Asked for some brown sugar and it was perfect. It was just the perfect amount of bitter and had a warm, enjoyable flavour. Granted, it was quite expensive considering how much you get but the quality is there for sure.

Love going to this stand at the West side Market. The coffee and teas are great. I bought a few pounds of beans and got home to realize they gave me the wrong flavor. The owner emailed back right away and sent me the right flavor. He was kind and generously resolved the wrong flavor.

I've come to this market for years. This stand has always had bad energy, and customer service. If you want flavorless tea and service, with a dash of singed taste bud come right here.
Overly priced coffee. Underly qualified staff.

the management of City Roast is absolutely kind with his responses in regards to a poor experience at the shop i had earlier, he was quick to reply and sort the situation. as a long time patron of the shop, i will gladly continue returning to support his business and continue to send my clientele his way!

I buy my tea there weekly, so many loose leaf tea blends and global coffees to choose from, highly recommended over the big chains.

Loved my double shot over ice. Tasted great. I also bought a pound of the espresso blend to use at home. I like that as well. Baristas were super friendly.

The owner of this establishment Bob was very helpful and runs a great business

Customer service leaves much to be desired but the coffee is good so 🙄
