Great atmosphere, coffee selections, and snack selections. Would've liked to have the coffee served as others staying in the store did in mugs rather than the paper cups since we were also eating there (given on standard plates), but was not offered the option.

When we lived in Cleveland, we adored this place. It was our number one destination for coffee in Tremond. We don't live in Cleveland any more. We had a weekend visit and decided to see our old coffee shop. We ordered our usual. However we were disappointed. Cafe Americano was very watery and the latte was very sweet. When we asked, the young lady tried to fix Cafe Americano but still I did not get the taste I used to. Since she did not seem very friendly, we did not ask about the latte. We left the shop unhappy. We are not sure if we come back.

Stopped on a bike ride for a coffee. The latte I got was decent - better than average. I did enjoy the atmosphere - worn and authentic. I wish I would have tried the soup as it looked delicious.

Saw a bunch of social topics on the building and didn’t even stop. Wanted coffee not agendas.

My friend and I first laughed because your name is “Civilization”. With a tag line like “a cafe in the European tradition”, it genuinely insinuates that Europeans curated coffee drinking which is far from true. The Chai tea I got was a cup half filled with foam and it came with no sleeve to protect my hand from the thin cup that it was served in. My brownie came with German chocolate icing but warming up my item wasn’t even offered as an option when it’s 45 degrees outside... you did what I expected... in European tradition, you let me down.

A MUST when you are in Tremont! Fun folks, cool vibe, and awesome coffee!

Did almost all my clinical notes there in the past year. Precious Tremont. Nice warm environment. Food is ok. Drinks are good!

Awesome little gem in Tremont. Great coffees and service, very kind. Pastry selection perfect.

Super cool place. Wish there were more room. My wife and I were looking to sit down and there are only a few seats in the whole place. Only one table and a small bar area. Great place for to go orders only.

Fourth time here- Love it. The Mocha is great and the sandwiches are worth it. Way better than a chain, and cheaper.
