Standard country food. Good and filling. It was near the end of the shift though. So they were more focused on cleaning up and joking with each other than checking on their customers. I sat for a while while my food was getting cold because I needed my coffee refilled. I choke easily, so I need that liquid on hand to help all too often. I also sat for quite a while just waiting for my bill.

One of our favorite places to go! Love the soup bar add a salad and it’s a great meal! They also have good specials that change daily!

Great food at exceptionally reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A really great bonus is the décor that is filled with little bits of wonderful history.

We ordered burgers to go and expected something a little more sizzling, fresh, juicy, and flavorful. Still pretty decent as far as takeout goes. Ordered for curbside pickup but had to go inside to pick it up. Not happy about that.

Is an old quant place to stop and enjoy the history of the Old Main Cafe. The food is Awsome.

Warm beer that tasted like dish detergent. Ordered a burger that was supposed to be a bacon Swiss burger, got a soggy roast beef sandwich. It's been nasty there for years.

My Dad and I stopped here late at night on a father and son road trip and discovered a great place to eat at. While it did take a while for our food to arrive (which I can't really complain about because the cooks were probably tired) it was well worth the wait. The grilled chicken sandwich was excellent and the french fires are served hot and crisp. My father had a really great beer here (I don't drink) unfortunately we don't remember what it was called. This place seems to be a local favorite and for good reason. The food is inexpensive and you get a decent amount for what you pay for. Next time I am in Devils Lake, I will DEFIANTLY stop here for a quick bite.

I really like Old Main. It's classic, small-town American food. Don't expect gourmet. Don't expect vegetarian. Expect burgers and hearty breakfasts. Expect heavy soups and garlicky toast. Good prices, responsive staff. Nostalgic decor.

Im a South African working on a farm near Devils Lake, and found this place. To me, it a absolute GEM, yes nothings perfect ofcourse, the atmosphere, the waitresses, food, ambience, just perfect for me, no its not a Gordon Ramsey place, its more like one of those "Diners, drive-ins and dives" and Loxal
