Old Main Street Cafe

Our server Curtis was awesome! This place is right on the Main Street. It’s got a small town vibe and good food options. Being a vegetarian, they were able to offer me fruit. Had a senior citizen menu and a kid’s menu. They also gave candy to the child in our group. There’s a TV and a fish tank. Great service and locals.

BEST PLACE EVER!!! I have gone there after the DLVFD Ice fishing tournament for years now. Everytime I go, the staff is super friendly and the whole place gives a comforting feel. And the soup bar, oh my gosh, the ✨Soup bar✨ all you can eat, DELICIOUSNESS, adorable, and... Get this... It also has all you can eat bread (break sticks, toast, croutons, saltines, ect.)!!!

Old Main Street Cafe had potential. Homemade croutons in the salad were amazing. We ordered a ribeye & prime rib, both medium rare. They were both well done and didn't have any flavor. Sides were good. Waitress was very nice, but did nothing to remedy the overcooked dinners other than offer free dessert. Will not return.

Really neat little spot overflowing with history and great food. My server Christy was amazing. This place was the best in town! Great coffee! Super yum pancakes and wraps. Yum yum loved it!! Great food and awesome service! A+++++

Cute restaurant with lots of seating. There is a oldtime atmosphere with a laid back style. The staff are very happy and helpful. I had the soup bar and it was lovely. Great place to take the family.

The food is good, not the best, but good. The atmosphere is very cozy, warm, and welcoming. The price point is fair. Staff: If you eat here, ask for Chelsea to be your waitress. She is one of the best I've ever had. She exudes a positive attitude and strong work ethic. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful about what items I may want to order. I observed her working very hard even when no one else was watching. I'm from North Carolina, and KNOW hospitality when I see it: it's just a way of life for us southerners. This small town Carolina guy has been all over the world, and so all that being said, To Old Main Cafe: I hope you realize and acknowledge what an asset Chelsea is to your business. She absolutely runs your business for you when she's there. You're absolute idiots if you don't compensate her adequately. If it were my restaurant, I would make provisions to ensure longevity of her employment status. Thank you for good food and the best service!

Souper, souptacular, NEED MORE SOUP!

Excellent soup bar... all you can eat (9 different soups) Order as a meal itself (7.00 something) or for $1.99 add it on as extra with a meal and still eat all you like!!

A Devils Lake and ND classic home cooking with great service and good cooks!!! Breakfast, lunch n dinner. It's all good! And you can even play some pull-tabs and have a beer if you choose 😀

Old Main is such a fun place to eat in Devils Lake! We love the soup bar, the service is always very friendly, and the variety of food on the menu means there's something for everyone. We've also had them cater for a larger group of people and the food was excellent and the set up was easy.
