Midtown Cafe and Dessertery

The spicy grit bowl was fantastic. The sweet potato pancakes were good. The kid's bear pancakes were adorable.

Super disappointing. Ordered to go and clearly should have more thoroughly inspected the food before we got home. Fish was so incredibly over fried that you couldn't tell what was breading vs. fish. One of our sides was wrong. Veggies had an odd taste and chicken was too salty. $40+ wasted.

Just looking for a place nearby when we had to come to Baptist and ran across this little gem, strongly suggest the grilled Reuben, fries tomatoes were one of my fav appetizers EVER the sauce they come with is awesome. Chicken fajita wrap was good too, we also had many dessert, the spice cake was my personal favorite...the bread pudding was a bit of a letdown IMO. Great place overall, we'll be 🔙.

Stopped by just to have coffee + cake after lunch . Beautiful day to sit outside . Great ambiance with comfortable seating and shade. Nice fountain and statue.
Loved the assorted cake pcs we ordered and the coffee. Nice service and parking. Definitely going back for lunch or dinner.

We ate outside this time and went for breakfast. The mocha cafe coffee was great and the pancakes were pretty good too. The eggs and bacon was pretty average. Nothing bad and pretty agreeable food. The menus we received this time wer clean and not stick and the table looked freshly cleaned. Overall a pretty decent time. Make sure to ask for salt if you like a little flavor to your eggs.
Our outdoor waiter was super nice and checked on us everytime he passed. He did a great job and I wish I know his name to give him credit.

We were very excited to come since it always had a line, but maybe it was an off day for them? Our table was sticky and the menu was dirty. Our meal was pretty lackluster for 35+ dollars. We both ordered the buttermilk fried chicken plus two sides. It was small for 14 dollars. The
broccoli had a weird taste and the potatoes were on similar levels as KFC. The meal itself wasn't bad, but it was amazing either. The soda was also just a little flat. The servers were nice and just let us be for most of our meal. There were also multiple flies in the restaurant, but it was a hot summer day.

Had lunch here today! All I can say is top notch! They were busy but had an amazing system in play to seat folks which allowed us to wait in our vehicle. Was absolutely worth the wait. Waitress was perfect!!! Food was hot, cooked to order, and delicious!!!! Definitely will be back more often! A+ 💯 no complaints! Other area restaurants could learn some things from yall 👌

My friends and I had the bright idea of having brunch on a Saturday morning, and after driving to 3 different places that had 45 minute waits, Midtown Cafe saved us! We got a seat immediately and the food was absolutely delicious!! The French toast is delectable and our waiter was so sweet!! I will definitely be coming back again.

Midtown has always had great desserts but, they also have other items on their menu.
Yesterday I had breakfast and it was very good. Our server's name was Abby. Having Abby as a server made "Midtown Cafe" a premier eatery. Our food was cooked to perfection. Abby gave us great service even after, my daughter became disoriented and fell out of her chair. Abby checked on her and brought some fruit and a slice of bacon, a sausage link. My whole experience was better because of Abby. My Wife, Daughter and Grandson want to thank Abby and the Midtown Cafe and Dessertery

Excellent food & service . Nice ambiance. Ample parking. Bakery has all kinds of goodies! Best omelette! Lot of choices on menu.

This Place is Awesome! The Staff is SO Pleasant and Helpful About Suggestions. Knowledgeable About the Food on the Menu and What Goes With What. The Food Was Delicious and Prices are Very Reasonable. I Got Moravian Chicken Pie and it Came With Salad and a Fruit Cup! The Raspberry Vinaigrette Salad Dressing is Delicious! Added Bonus for Breakfast Lovers... Breakfast on the Menu is Served Anytime!! Service was GREAT and Our Food Came Pretty Fast! The Atmosphere is Very Pleasant and Spacious. They Have Fantastic Desserts. They are in Glass on Display as You Walk in. My Experience Here Was Wonderful and I Will Definitely be Back! 5 Stars!
