First time going and will be back. Loved the food. I had Fried green tomatoes and Crab cakes and grits. Both were delicious. My cousins ordered The Farmhouse and Sweet Potato pancake with the candied pecans. One ordered a black jack burger. They enjoyed their food as well. Reasonable prices and good amount of food. The desserts looked amazing. I was too full to order dessert. I will back to try their cakes..pies...bread pudding. .cheesecake. ..etc!

Incredible doesn't seem good enough. I had fried green tomato BLT w/country potatoes. Service was excellent, even though it seemed crowded we were seated quickly. Is now my favorite breakfast place, can't wait to go back for dinner.

I stumbled upon this place by accident. I meant to go to another cafe, but this DID NOT disappoint. We have all enjoyed our food and service was more than accommodating. I had the fried chicken sandwich, Buffalo style and when I say that was THE BEST chicken sandwich I have ever had, I mean it with sincerity. The chicken was sooooo juicy! I shared a flight mimosa with my boyfriend. We got the Cinnamon pear, pumpkin apple pie (I think that’s what it’s called), cranberry ginger and caramel apple. They were all delicious, but if we had to pick our favorite, it would be the pumpkin apple pie. It was literally fall in a mimosa. We will be coming back for more and trying the desserts next time.

Such a fantastic place for breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner. Consistently great food & service. Honestly can’t say enough good things about it. Oh & the cater too!

It was my first time there. Everything was good from food to the service. The fries were a bit blunt no flavor but my sandwich was good! I will try to go more often and will update as I go!

Super delicious beef and vegetable soup! The service was great and I liked that they have small booths for two people. The outdoor seating is beautiful and gives you a nice sense of the ambiance. They also have great tasting water lol. Nice selection of wine. Reasonable pricing and a bunch of options for desserts. I will be back to try the salads

We always come here from time to time and their rewards program is easy to avail and accumulates fast just give out your email everytime you visit. We were hosted by Pavla and shes just amazing and extremely friendly. We ordered blueberry pankcake and I would recommend to try their mimosa varieties. Food takes great all the time.

Food was ok. HOT CHOCOLATE was amazing! Pancakes were good but very thick.. would definitely come again. As I have on the past. They always had a great chili!

Great food and great service.. I was told it was a 20-minute wait and we actually only waited about 5. Father-in-law got the meatloaf and boy it was a lot! I got them my tacos which were good and my husband got the banana pecan pancakes. Very extensive menu can't wait to go back and try more things.

Originally trying to eat at IHOP, we changed plans due to a long wait for staffing shortage reasons. After trying to find several places that were open as early as we were driving around, we came across Midtown Cafe & Dessertery.
It was a fairly cool morning, so walking into the smell of coffee and sweets emanating from inside was a nice welcome. The space was also well lit and the staff was all so friendly.
We sat at a table in the corner next to a bright window where we could see the fountain at the entrance. I was digging the morning atmosphere. Our waitress gave our toddler a cool coloring pad to draw on and for the first time, we were directed to use a coin to scratch at the picture to color. Very cool! And mess-free from typical crayons. I really liked not having to pick up crayons or keep such a close eye on whether or not she was tempted to draw on anything else she's not supposed to. One less thing to worry about!
I ordered the french toast combo which was cinnamon-dusted with a side of caramel-like syrup. It also came with eggs and sausage links. There was a bit more of a dusting than I cared for, but not so where I didn't eat the whole thing..
My hubby, not being a breakfast guy, ordered their popular Pinehurst Chicken Grill sandwich; an eight-ounce chicken breast marinated in their Pinehurst sauce. It is Chargrilled then served on a grilled bun, topped with Pinehurst Sauce, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. He really enjoyed it!
Our daughter had caterpillar-styled pancakes which came with chocolate dots for a face and bacon. She really enjoyed it although I wish the chocolate could have been incorporated throughout the pancakes in another way beyond just being 3 dots for a face.
Finishing up, we split the most delicious triple chocolate cheesecake, an espresso for Hubs, and a chai coffee for me.
To sum it up, I think this is a solid cafe. No-frills food with safe options to choose from if you're going somewhere you just need to fill up. Kind of reminds me of an elevated IHOP, but with a kickass dessertery.
