This place is fantastic, Great recipes for the craft coffees!
Its rare that an independent coffee shop has this much to offer. I will definitely be back, worth the drive for sure!

I ordered the Mexican mocha and wow! It was so delicious. Staff was sweet and helpful since I’ve never been before. I loved the atmosphere and the environment of the place overall. It was so chill and laid back. Will be returning!!

I’ve been going to Grinders for 6+ years and I’ve never had a bad experience. They just get better with time! We love them so much they were our wedding favor!

This was my first visit and I loved every thing about it. I tried the Match tea with all the added flavors and a local honey chocolate chia granola bar. OMG!!! Everthing was so very good. I loved the decor of the place and the cute shop adjacent and the ladies who work there know their stuff. Way better than a chain coffee shop. I will be back. It's so important to support local.

I was torn between a 3 & 4 star because yesterday I had a $3 breakfast burrito but was charge $8 for it! However, I went for a 4 star rating because the surrounds are very pleasant and the staff are adequate. Stick with the muffins and pastries and you will be better off. Coffee is quite good.

Great place to go and relax with a custom made hot or cold beverage. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. The newly opened Vibe gift store is the perfect addition to an already great coffee shop. I promise once you stop by you will be back often.

I’m from out of town and tried this coffee shop on a whim. I got the Mexican mocha and it was amazing! Highly recommend.

I love this place. It is the best coffee shop to do homework/study, the baristas so friendly and the coffee….. simply amazing!
Edit: That comment above is a lie. I used to work at this establishment. We were forced to leave a 5 star review to help boost the service. While working here the staff is given a minimum wage ($7.25/hr) plus tips (MAX $20 cash) which is not increased unless you put in more work…understandable….. but while I was working here I was ASKED to do inventory and promised two raises in the month following. I only received one raise to $8.50/hr, and when I talked to the owner about increasing my pay (because i was not being given enough to pay bills, while working 5-6 days a week and being a full time student at UNCW) she looked at me, laughed, told me “you’re not worth being paid more” and told me that I “should find one or two more jobs”. On top of this, they leave milk in the steamers to reuse throughout the day, constantly being steamed, chilled, steamed again, etc. There is (or when I worked there, was) a roach infestation that was never properly handled. There is very little cleaning that goes on (including mold in the cold brew drainage container) and more. While I was here there were also very many speculations that the owner was stealing our credit card tips and pocketing them for herself. Money would disappear from our pay checks and after doing the math countless times, it never made sense. The owner argued with me that SHE is the one that brings in customers and because of that SHE is the one tipping us…. Okay no. Customers come back because the baristas treat them like friends and family. The owner was rarely even in her own establishment. I cannot emphasize how much you should NOT GO HERE OR GET A JOB HERE. The owner is awful.

A true "local's know" hotspot;)
This is my destination whenever im meeting clients or having a hot ☕️ date.
Menu is compromised of smoothie rich sustenance to fuel you when you're hungry ( I go for the avocado cooler), and caffine infused jubilation when you need that extra super jack:D
This little sanctuary is a true gem in our community. ❤️
Thanks for the smiles y'all!

This place is always busy! I buy coffee beans every month, so that means I pick up a fresh piece of chocolate banana bread and a cookie or two, also. Love !
