Drift Coffee Shop & Kitchen Mayfaire

Drift coffee and kitchen is exactly what it advertises, it is a coffee and kitchen. Like a meat and cheese roll up except it is coffee and kitchen. I have been going here my whole life, about a few months. The employees are all really great and I consider all of them to qualify as candidates to be my bridesmaids. Whenever I order a coffee they make it and then give it to me, which is fabulous. The only thing I would change about drift coffee and kitchen would be to rename it Drip coffee and kitchen because this place is so swagger. They have pillows here too which is cool because I usually use pillows at home and like when I come here they have them and it reminds me of when I use my pillows at home. The cheese is good. Oh wait hold on my shoes untied

Sorry about that I’m back. One question for ya. Did drift fall from Tennessee because it is the only 10 I see. I cannot tell you how glad I am that I’ve been practicing on how to drink liquids.The only problem is that they haven’t played ocean man by ween on their speaker, which is kind of offensive. But they do have vegetarian options like water and other things and stuff. You even get to keep the disposable cups if you order it to go. So crazy. This place should hold a speed dating event because I really want to be loved. I really want to watch Toy Story 3 so I have to go but it was great talking to y’all I will see you when I’m thirsty

Drift coffee taste delicious. It beats Starbuck by 100 miles! Clean and very friendly staff. Oh, you have to try their avocado toast..

I went to this establishment yesterday (april 17th) around the lunch rush so it was rather busy and hectic, but that is to be expected by such an amazing spot as this one. While i was there, the lovely long dark haired worker (i believe her name started with an L but i’m not too sure) professionally dealt with a rather odd individual complaining about “flies” they saw in the display case. After this man left and the line died down, she went and checked to see if said bugs were there, but to her dismay, there was none. she handled the situation with the utmost grace and kindness, will definitely be returning here for the great food, ambiance, and customer service!

UPDATE - The owner has reached out to us, and while we still haven't received a full refund, he seems to be a nice person and listened to all of my feedback.

Drift Coffee & Kitchen stole money from us.

After placing an online order that totaled $30 and some change (including tip), our car broke down on the way to pick up the order (radiator cracked and the car overheated).

We were early as we placed the order with a pickup time of 30 minutes (instead of the default 5) and we left our house immediately.

Shortly after leaving our house, the car broke down. While waiting for a tow, we decided to call Drift and give them a heads up, so they could cancel the order and not have to make it.

Someone from Drift picked up immediately and after we told them we would be unable to pick up our order (and gave them our reason why), we were told the order was already made. Literally, there response to us saying our car broke down was ”Well, we already made the order, so....are you close enough for us to deliver it to you?”.

We were near downtown and the last thing we needed was someone to drive up with a warm acai bowl.

After pondering how to best handle this $30 transaction, someone at Drift thought the ethical and correct way to handle this was to send us an e-mail explaining they already made our food (way too early) and because of this, they could only refund 50% of the transaction and the money could take up to a week to make it back to our account.

So instead of simply refunding the customer $30, Drift has taken a short-sighted business decision and as a result, has lost a couple of customers for life. They've also driven me to write this review, which will be published on social platforms, and anywhere else I can leave a review.

Great food and coffee healthy and feeling great after meal!

Let me say first, I love the coffee and espresso at drift. My problem is the employees at the mayfaire location ONLY. The other location (autumn hall) , the employees are so sweet and helpful at the mayfaire location they are always rude. My friends have literally relayed the same to me on different occasions to the point where we just will NOT go to this location. Particularly the young blonde/redhead man and the young brunette with glasses. They have been rude and acted snobby when I asked a few simple questions. Please, change up the staff, or at the very least remind them of how their customer service affects YOUR business. I tell everyone I know to avoid this location.

Great service and really good coffee!

Wow disappointed to say the least!! I ordered the smoked salmon toast and iced matcha green latte. After reading reviews I was hopeful but ONE piece of toast for $7.50!! And a latte for $5.50 I should’ve went to Starbucks for the coffee and Zoës kitchen for the meal I practically ate the toast in two bites and 14$ later I’m unsatisfied with less money in my pocket.. I won’t be back
