Drift Coffee Shop & Kitchen Mayfaire

Sandwiches were good, coffee tastes like garbage & nothing but stuck up folks trying to get food in here. Make sure you wait and watch for your food like a hawk because these people will go up and start opening boxes like it's their job putting their hands on everyone's food. Staff should really consider putting names or tickets on the boxes so that if someone is in the bathroom and they miss their name being called they know if it's their food or not.

Definitely was great. Very Friendly. The pumpkin spice latte was the best. Just enough syrup. The flavor of the coffee was delicious.

I don't know what all of the complaints about the coffee are about, because I'm pretty sure I just indulged in one of the best brown sugar oatmilk lattes I've ever had.

The food is heavily overpriced, but I feel like I can say that about anywhere with the certain aesthetic that Drift also encompasses. The space is small, but nice enough. The food definitely leaves something to be desired, which is, again, typical of coffee shops. I'm not sure what all the "no laptop" spaces are about, given that most coffee-shop-purposes is to grab coffee and work for a bit. The service seems to have gotten friendlier, or I may have just gotten lucky with a particularly nice employee. Either way, with the pros and cons...I was pleased with both my beverage and my experience.

Let me preface this and say if your from up north (dunks) or you like port city java this place NOT for you.

Me and the wife tried this place on a sunday before a Matinee at the movie theater. My wife got the breakfast burrito and a small cappuccino, and I ordered the Ham and egg on rye and a regular iced coffee with 2% and I wanted granular sugar. It was $27+a couple bucks for a tip (outrageous). My wifes drink came in a borderline dixie cup it was so small. Her burrito wasnt bad. What I got was a sad excuse for an iced coffee, it barely had an milk and all they had was sugar in the raw. The ham and egg was really bad. Im pretty sure the worst ive ever had. The rye bread was this thin wafer looking thing and the egg just didnt taste right. Stick to Dunks boys.

Food was delicious and great service!

Very happy surprise! While running errands, I stopped by for an afternoon pick me up. The chai was absolutely delicious, and the snack balls (lemon-cashew and coconut-date) hit the spot!

If I could give this place more stars I would!!! The service was impeccable! My family walked in 1 minute before closing (we had no idea what time it was or that they were closing soon). We aren’t the kind of people who like to walk into places last minute before closing so we apologized and began to leave but they were SO VERY kind in offering to still make our drinks. While they were making our drink they provided very friendly chit chat, even offering up some good eats locally! They even enjoyed the company and goofiness of our 2 year old. We LOVED our drinks! Very well made! This place is definitely a 10/10 in our book!

Ambience is very nice, with a ‘chill’ atmosphere. I am not much for a coffee so I had ordered a hot chocolate. It was OK, but a bit pricey at $4.50. It did not come in a mug but in a rather small glass with no handle. I could not drink it until it cooled off because the class was too hot to be held. My question to you is: why don’t you use regular mugs with handles for your hot beverages? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Great experience. My favorite coffee shop in ILM by far (had bad experience at Social). Food was great, plenty of options for me, coffee was top notch and exactly what I ordered. Great customer service and very clean! This will be my go to spot on a regular basis.

This local coffee shop has such a comfortable atmosphere to be in. The purple iced latte was out of this world. Definitely hooked after trying it. The staff were so polite and suggested different menu items. The manager was professional and I could tell she takes pride in her restaurant cleanliness and employees. GO TRY IT OUT! #supportlocal
