What a bizarre place! This was our first time going here, and we will never return. The woman at the counter was so incredibly scattered, she kept messing up our order and saying it's "too early" for her (it was 10am). The poor gentleman making the drinks (who really seemed to care) was trying to manage her mistakes and the customers. We ordered a chai, and they ran out of the mix. That's fine, it happens, but we replaced it with a lavender earl gray tea. I asked about the price difference and they said the tea would be more but they were taking care of it. I find this hard to believe that an earl grey tea is more money than a chai latte. I didn't press the issue since I'm confident the woman behind the counter seemed confused with the interaction. The setup of the cafe is very strange. We weren't really sure where to walk in and the other customers just seemed to stand around. There really isn't any organization. Drink orders are written on a small piece of paper, and in the small amount of time we were there the woman at the counter forgot and/or lost 2 different people's orders. The thing that got us the most - $1.25 for oat milk!!! What?! Most cafes usually charge between 50-75 cents for dairy-free milk. I really wish we didn't stop here or give this place a try. I hope the owners read this and talk to their staff about how to be professional and better organized. The one positive aspect of our first and last experience at Moments was thanks to the gentleman making the drinks. He was polite, communicative, and made a good coffee. He deserves a raise for everything he had to deal with.

Friendly people, tasty espresso drinks and breakfast sandwiches. Cozy decor includes beautiful original art pieces for sale. If I may suggest an improvement, replacing the sagging ceiling tiles would be good. Overall, it's a nice quiet coffee shop for reading or hanging out.

I love this little coffee shop. It's a super cozy place to meet up with a friend or get some computer work done. They make their own delicious deserts and scones. The coffee is delicious and the staff is always friendly.

Very nice, new age, artsy type cafe. Its a very comfortable seating area. The staff were very nice. The coffee was great. The sandwiches full of flavor, and of good size. We had the steak sandwich and half a mushroom and cheese sandwich. Both quite yummy and good sized. The brownie was very good and rich. We shared that also. Coffee and chai were tasty.

The order took a long time even though we were first in line and others had received their orders. The mango smoothie tasted like they threw an entire mango in with a bit of orange juice, pit, skin and all. I didn’t even finish it

Rarely can I be bothered to leave a review of anything, let alone a coffee shop (if they have caffeinated coffee and some pastries and don't call me any mean names, then what could I possibly complain about?)

But Moments is worth it. It's the coziest coffee shop I've been to in the Asheville area. Good food, good pastries, lots of table space. You could write a novel here no problem.

Employees have been shockingly sincere and kind every time I've been here. Today the barista called me "my friend," which normally feels like an affectation, but damnit if I didn't believe him - he was just that nice.

Sweet coffee/yummy baked goods shop. Nice space to hangout and chat. The only thing is I wish they'd use compostable togo products - less plastic.

Update: Thank you! Glad to hear you're moving to compostables. Don't forget coffee lids, since we can't use our reusable mugs due to public health concerns.

Hey the staff said they are known for the scones and I understand why. Delicious! I always look for local coffee when traveling instead of that green and white brand. This place is a winner !
