Lake Mountain Coffee

It’s a joy to have a high quality, locally owned coffee shop so close to where I live. And work (it’s a minute walk down the road).

The lattes and cold brew are delicious as are the wide variety of flavors they offer.

The frappes are great too and I believe they make them with the cold brew. Tastes 100x better than Starbucks (sb uses an artificial powder substance mixed with water for the frappe coffee base). Scared me every time I made it when I worked there haha. Anyways. Definitely drop in and grab a drink.

Walked in on a whim as I was downtown. Place was incredibly clean, the kid at the counter was pleasant and courteous, and best of all, knowledgeable of the product. Tried a cup of Himalayan and then sought out info. Wound up buying a bag of the roast of the month. Very pleased and will definitely go back for more

Very pretty cafe but the coffee wasn’t great. We ordered a cortado and a cappuccino. Cortado came (to our surprise) with a pump of sugar and flavoring. Cappuccino could only come in 12 oz or larger.

Awesome atmosphere, kind & genuine baristas, and a solid tea selection (for a coffee shop) to boot! We stumbled upon this place on our way to Greensboro; happy this is where we ended up. Thanks for the tea & coffee. Cheers!

Very open, pleasant, inviting, and beautifully decorated. Not only do they have great coffee, but there is a nice selection of wines for sale and beer on tap! I'm excited to have such a nice new place in downtown Statesville!

It's been awhile since I've been to downtown Statesville. What an incredibly welcome addition. The coffee was wonderful. The beer selection was great. If I still lived in that town, I'd probably keep some office hours there

I originally gave this place a 2 star review and I am sorry. When I first came to the shop I mostly saw people drinking alcohol, got confused and annoyed, thinking "I thought this was a coffee shop??!". I retreated too hastily, completely missing the coffee right there. I know, I'm blind.
Anyway, I now bring my boyfriend here every few weeks. The coffee is amazing and the interior is really beautiful. The staff is friendly. it's very quite, much quieter than Starbucks and I'm very grateful for that. Best coffee spot in town!

This is an amazing place to get coffee and snacks as well. The ingredients are great and they have a variety of options, not just that.. but the SERVICE... is fantastic. The people that work there are super nice, the greeted me very well, and the preparation of my coffee was great. Im telling you, the service is great not to mention the place is super comfy and welcoming. I 100% recommend it to anybody looking for great coffee and environment to enjoy their coffee.

Sky Mountain Coffee is a fun, great atmosphere, great coffee kind of place! I worked from here while waiting on some family to meet me and had a chocolate milkshake and Ethiopian blend coffee. Both drinks were very good. I highly recommend this coffee shop and the owner was great to talk to as well.

I think that was one of the best iced coffee I ever had!!
