Delicious bagels & toast! Love grabbing a bite with a great latte or cup of coffee.

Really cool little spot! We just shot through for a cup of coffee. Though I didn't order any food, I had the chance to see some come off the line ( as we were waiting for our fresh cup of brew) and oh my goodness it looked amazing! Will definitely be back.

I was briefly in Spruce Pine for a few weeks and this spot was a regular stopping place for me. Every time I bit into whatever Aaron had on the simple menu for the day I recall thinking to myself, "this is the best quiche I've ever had" or "this is the best tomato sandwich I've ever had" or "this is the best dark chocolate oatmeal cookie I've ever had". Not only are the baked goods incredible, but the coffee (which Aaron explained to me is his "priority") is always executed perfectly and with a personal touch. Go!

I moved to Bakersville from Seattle, WA 3 weeks ago. I have been here a handful of times already and am really impressed with the quality of their coffee and clear understanding of how to brew an exceptional cup of coffee. Aaron and the other stuff are really friendly and it never fails to be a layed back, relaxed, chill atmosphere. I'm so glad to see such a unique place in Spruce Pine.

Excellent coffee, wonderful baked goods. Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, bagel sandwiches, English muffin toast. Great for families. They even have a little toy corner. Love this place.

An incredible coffee shop! My sister and I stopped in from out of town and loved their iced mocha latte and cold brew. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, too — I highly recommend stopping here!

Amazing homemade food and excellent coffee! Our #1 place to visit if you’re in the area. Come before or after a good hike. Also Saturday the owner cooks brunch menu items.

We ate a delightful lunch at this tiny and well run coffee house in Spruce Pine NC. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was well prepared. Recommend this establishment.

Very lovely coffee shop with great homemade baked goods and counter culture coffee. Try the English muffin toast or the lox bagel! Pour over coffees are my favorite.

Handcrafted and homemade is the mantra of this small town coffee shop, and owner Aaron takes extreme care to make it feel and taste that way. From the remodel of the space, which Aaron did most of, to the training of the staff, to the fresh local ingredients and high quality coffee beans, and finishing touches to every drink that crosses his counter, everything is done right. After living in New York, Ft Worth, St Louis, and Nashville over the last 12 years, I'd put Fox and the Fig up against the best in any of those cities, and I'm proud to have such a great shop in our humble little town. Keep up the great work, Aaron!
