Crazy unhappy and unfriendly people working this restaurant. Doesn’t fit with the small Seaside harbor town. They clearly do not want to be working at this restaurant. Made for an unpleasant experience three days in a row

Stopped in today for our first time. Cute place! Walked in about 1130 am, . No one acknowledged us, as we waited for the 3 women working to finish their conversation I realized they were shaking the tip jar and having a very loud talk about how “ teenagers and tourists are the worst tippers” As we’re standing there the girl with the nose ring goes on to say “ tourists come here, trash the place and they don’t even know how to tip” If my husband didn’t want coffee so bad,I would have left. The irony of having a hotel and guest cottages all around. And I thought businesses wanted tourist dollars

I love the bean. Been coming here on and off for probably about five years or more now and they have always had some of the best coffee around the area. I always find it hard to find strong coffee when I'm in NC, but this place does their coffee well. The place is cute, has outdoor seating and a little indoor area as well.

We have been here several times since docking in Oriental. I found my favorite for the summer today, the Mocha Shake with and extra espresso shot! We also get out coffee by the pound here as well.

Honestly my favorite place in oriental. The pastries are bomb, coffee is bomb, smoothies and cold drinks are bomb. The entire place is so cool. The view is absolutely amazing. The staff are incredible. I love every single one of them; they’re so friendly and welcoming, and always make an effort to chat with customers.
I’d rate the bean 12/10 🤩
