Lots of dairy free options. Perfect consistency. Beautiful smoothies and bowls. Great flavor, not overly sweet and no extremely under ripe banana taste.

I ordered a waffle with two scoops of ice cream close to closing. They told me the waffle machine was off, that they had had to clean it. Then I asked for a Brownie Sundae instead. I said “same two flavors”, meaning the same two scoops I had wanted on my waffle. They gave me the same two scoops they just made—for my girlfriend’s sundae. Neither she nor I received the two flavors we ordered—she had wanted cookies and crème. We both only got cookies and crème. On top of that, the spoon was too weak for the sundae, frequently bending almost to the point of breaking.
I spent $8 for average ice cream and a lackluster experience.

We went out today Dec 27th, The Spot was steady with business and the 8 of us came in looking to get some ice cream. Both girls were friendly and professional. Our son has nut allergies and they went out of their way to help him with choices so he would be able to enjoy his smoothie.

I have never felt inclined to post a bad review before, especially for the spot because it used to be my absolute favorite place in the outer banks. We had a great experience getting bowls yesterday and decided to stop in again today to eat a bowl before watching the St. Patrick’s day parade. When we got our bowls we asked the girl working if it was alright for us to park in the lot and walk down to the parade route and she said that should be no problem. So we ate our bowls and when we went to get our chairs from the back of our car another woman stormed out and immediately started yelling she was going to tow our car. We told her we would move and explained that we had been told we could but she continued to be very rude and nasty. A simple “sorry guys we aren’t allowing parking here for the parade” would have been perfectly fine there was absolutely no need for her to embarrass us in the parking lot. Overall a very upsetting experience and unfortunately we will be hesitant to return to our previous favorite stop in the outer banks.

Best "spot" ever! Coconut ice cream is my favorite and it's just has a great vibe the employees are helpful and keep the place clean and there's even a 5 minute walk to the beach

We are loyal customers when we come. Usually it’s great but I ordered a Turtle Sundae which is suppose to be 2 scoops of ice cream along with the toppings but there may have been 1 scoop in there and very little topping. I was a bit disappointed. I hope the next ones for others will be better!! Will be back in August and hope to try again with better success!!

Had a great experience here. Felt very safe as they are taking right precautions with masks and all. Generous portions as well; delicious ice cream and açaí bowls! Incredibly friendly staff, looks as if family owned which I love to support. Overall an amazing experience and I would love to come back anytime for a sweet fix.

If you are looking for something refreshing and good...then definitely try out "The Spot" while in Nags Head. The lines can get long in the evenings so be prepared to wait 15 to 20 min. It's worth the wait!

Acai bowl was delicious and at a fair price.
