This is our favorite spot to get a sweet treat in the banks. I absolutely loved the Reef Acai Bowl!

Stopped for ice cream, many good choices, had root beer float.

Kids loved the ice cream, no line when we went (in DEC). Great service.

What a wonderful place to get some quality ice cream. Staff extremely friendly and patient. The view of the "Ace Hardware" across the street is something you can't put a price on. Sit out the front, and witness the complimentary show, involving auto-accidents and various road rage examples of how to navigate a junction. Will have you going back for seconds!

So good! Fresh and quick service. Great amount for the price as well.

Hershey’s Ice Cream was good, but it was dripping before the cup (or cone) was even handed to you. The inside of the store was scorching like they didn’t have any AC, so I’m sure that probably didn’t help. Overall wasn’t overly impressed - wouldn’t go back.

The best smoothie bowls with many options. We go here every summer and each time it is fresh, so tasty, and never disappoints!! They also have ice cream and regular smoothies not just the bowls. Great place to take kids for a treat. Walk over to the secret spot surf shop next door too!!

Literally always something goes wrong here. They charge $1 to "sub" toppings even though you aren't getting extra. They sent my family's order to the wrong location after my sister paid and then tried to say that we hadn't placed the large order. I went on another day and tried to redeem a 2020 coupon for a free bowl, which had no expiration date on it so it was legally valid, and they wouldn't let me use it. Really wouldn't have taken them much to accept it and honor it since I had come 8 times to get a free bowl. For people who don't live there year-round, it's pretty ridiculous to just stop taking vouchers they've issued and that are valid with no fine print on expiration. The high school workers have an attitude, and the manager/owner I spoke to was rude as well. After multiple issues at this location over several years, I won't be going back again when I'm in town again. Plenty of friendly places around Nags Head to give your business to instead.
Edit to respond to the owner's rude response (typical, as shown in the original review). My sister put in the location we've been going to since the Spot opened, so it wasn't customer error. To insinuate that I somehow stamped the loyalty card myself is laughable. I'm a lawyer, am honest, and I do not have the time or energy or desire to stamp my own loyalty card to get a free $9 acai bowl 2 years later lol. It's not from 2017 or 2018 - it's from 2020, as the owner told me in person. The owner also didn't take the card to inspect it to even see how it was marked. If your employees used a shotty process back them to stamp the card, that's not on the customer. It's a poorly run business with overpriced pre-made sweetened acai. I'm sure you make more money by nitpicking over cost of each ingredient and not honoring a free bowl from a customer who has come here for years, when you could have easily just honored it as a nice gesture. But thankfully for you guys your business model is geared towards tourists who will pop in once or twice over the summer rather than locals or people who have been coming there for years because that way you don't have to be accountable or actually be friendly and warm. As I already said, I won't be back, but best of luck.
