Corine's Cafe

My husband and I ate at this restaurant quite frequently. Service and the food at OK, but today made me really think about who I support from here on out. First, my husbands sausage was not done, they took it back and we waited and waited, and our server finally asked if we got it yet and we said no. So we waited and waited again, nothing. So we went to pay our bill. As we paid our bill our card was being charged an additional Fifty cents, not much. But I had to ask, I asked what was it for, she said for using a card, which I knew. This is how owners keep from paying fees on credit card services through their providers. So I asked the owner when and if she had a day where I could come back and discuss options on her payment processing system? She said very rudely " No never, I will never have time and do not ask me about it again". And repeated it! I guess I am upset because, #1 I support your business, and then I had a problem with my food that NO ONE ever addressed or apologized for, then THE OWNER following up with being rude. That shows me who you are and how you treat people/customers. It flows from the head down! I never complain and rate businesses but People please treat people kind especially running a business, it matters!

Took 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered. Hamburger steak was over cooked and cold. Chicken tip over rice. Hardly any chicken and there onions and bell peppers we not cooked. Not impressed at all.

Great food as always. We stop here everytime we're in town.

Although the waitress's we're great, the owner Corene was not nice to us at all,
We brought our service dog with us in a small bag and Corene
almost bit our head off, she could have been a little more courteous Also, she ask if we wanted to see the law and we said yes. We took our dog outside and put her in the car. We said we would never eat there again because of her rude behavior.

Not happy with hamburger steak, mystery meat is what I got and it was not good . My mom had a Reuben, she didnt like it either, with the soggy bread.Prices were expensive for the quality of food.
should have gone for breakfast from the reviewes.

Great little neighborhood breakfast & lunch restaurant. The foods are well prepared & truly like foods prepared at home. The owner is there keeping things running smoothly and the wait staff is very friendly. I will be going back often.

Not sure if I would go back there again. Coffee was weak and watery and the waffle I ordered was burnt cold and hard. When the waitress brought it to the table she mentioned the condition of the waffle so she knew, then why bring it to the table in the first place, go figure. After 20 minutes she brought out another one but by then everyone else had finished their breakfast. I didn't eat it nor did they make good on it.

I love this place. For the first time that I went I feel if I were on my house. The service that they give you is the best service in the Moresville area. Try it. You will like it.

Good place to eat for the money. You get home style cooking for less than fast food price. Maybe a little slow during breakfast, and lunch rushes, but that's because there are so many customers! Because they're awesome. :)

I haven’t ordered from Corines in years and since there’s always a lot of cars and it’s close to my house I thought I’d give them another try. Well that was a bad mistake.
I ordered a country ham and egg biscuit and two livermush biscuits. The biscuits were from a can and very small. The egg on the ham biscuit was cooked so long it was brown. The livermush on the other two was so thick that even cooking it to where it was crispy on the outside it was still uncooked on the inside.
I was very disappointed especially when I had to give one to my Marine that was home visiting.
