Big Buck's Homemade Ice Cream

Great staff! Quick ice cream serving. Can't say its the best icecream i ever had. But very satisfying to see an ice cream parlor open as late as 10pm on a Thursday.

I went 8/16 in the evening for 2 ice cream cups. The ice cream was delicious!!! I would eat it again. However, the woman behind the counter was extremely rude and ignorant. I wouldn’t return.

True to it's name big bucks and delicious strawberry milkshake with added banana.

If you want REAL ice cream and not just average Hershey’s ice cream then Big Buck’s is the place to go. I’ve been here several times for several years in a row and have never been disappointed. It’s the best ice cream in Outer Banks, hands down.

Delicious homemade ice cream. So glad I finally stopped in. They give you huge portions too. This was "two scoops" and I had trouble finishing it.

The ice cream was pretty good, and we enjoyed the decorations they had inside the little shop. The price was a little steep, but that's anywhere in OBX. The staff seemed a little stressed and not happy we were there, hopefully we weren't annoying them, it was just the 4 of us wanting to get some ice cream...

Great homemade Ice cream. Wide range of other homemade desert item's. Has good drink choices from coffee to fruit smoothies.

Coconut Chocolate Chip. SO GOOD. I saw someone wrote it melted so it must not be homemade..?? They use simple ingredients, ice cream melts. They were busy but seemed friendly enough. A bit expensive but I’m on vacation and it’s a treat. Would recommend. My cost conscious husband suggested a pint for the most bang for my buck and I gladly obliged.

Wide variety of flavors! Very patient and respectful workers, overall great experience. Not to mention the icecream was delicious. 11/10 recommended, way better than Holy cow creamery and definitely worth the wait.

Unfortunately, the quality of the soft serve here is on the poor side. It was very grainy and crystalized. Kind of like ice milk. They had several cone options on display but every time I picked one I was told they were out and it would be removed from the displace (not a big deal, it was just funny). Other's outside the store said that their hard ice cream is good. But agreed that the soft serve could be better.
