Not impressed. Their Latte is at or below the level of a dunkin donuts (seemed like it came out of machine rather than actually being made by someone who knew what they were doing). Sandwiches seemed to be prepared then microwaved to order. They refused to change the bagel type on my sandwich in a rather "how dare you ask that" attitude. Overall, a mediocre to low quality shop.

Bad attitude from hostess, issues with reservations. Lots of empty tables on the deck but "they are reserved" yet no one sat at them for the hour we were there. Food was good but pricey given the below average experience. Will not be going back.

Would be a 4 star, but they lose a star for being unfriendly and rude. Coffee drinks and snacks are good. Tip: be friendly, it won't hurt you. It should not be "too much to ask" what ingredients are in the drinks or snacks. Also, when you mandate masks and hide behind plexiglass, it's hard to hear each other. You'll have to deal with your own policies. Yes, masks are mandated in NC, but y'all voted the politicians in, so I guess you should be happy with the setup.

Good coffee and nice sitting area in the back with WiFi. However, staff is not very accommodating or friendly. I probably won’t be back.

Perfect timing, not too many people there at the time. Good service and tasty breakfast nibbles. Hot coffee and tea.

There are essentially two breakfast spots in Highlands if you don't eat at your hotel or buy groceries. This was the quick stop. The coffee was fine, but they don't appear to make any food in house (including the pastries which looked like they came from Costco), which is really a shame. I work at a busy coffee shop in Atlanta and we make everything in house down to the bagels and cream cheese, so the minimal effort was disappointing. I guess it's all about expediting as much stuff out the door as possible. They couldn't even add tomato to my English muffin (which they took out of what looked like an airplane meal tray) and they had no salt packets?! Coffee hipsters, now is the time to open a real shop with real food in Highlands. You'll make a killing.

The dark roast coffee blend had a extremely rich taste to it. Delicious. The employees were pleasant.

The girl at the counter never greeted us, was less than friendly, was looking down and picking her nails as we ordered. She treated us as if we were interrupting her day. She was snippy and rude. The food was overheated and my sandwich was hard after cooling off. And the coffee cake was stone cold. We won't ever come back and I dont get the hype.

Kristina Macaulay

The worst bagel sandwich I have ever had. The bagel was stale and tiny, the egg was spongy and fake (or previously frozen), and the sausage was rubbery and freezing cold in the middle.

Extremely good service. They ask exactly what you would like and want in your coffee and if you want to heat the pastries that you order. There is an extremely good variety of pastries to go with your coffee.
