Calders Coffee Cafe

Bustling coffee shop right on Main St. in Highlands, NC. The back lower floor is quieter with tables, seating and plug in places, but mostly it's a great place for good coffee and conversation, not so much for quiet reflection. Also good for people watching. Free wifi for remote workers.

I usually find it boring to write reviews, but felt it was needed to share my experience. The food and coffee were “ok”, however the staff was beyond disrespectful, rude, and hostile. I will never come back to this establishment.

Nice atmosphere in a cute part of town. Coffee is average. Food is all prepackaged stuff but still tastes decent. No "for here" mugs so you are stuck with a paper cup. No other options in town so this place works.

An average coffee shack. The staff is (usually) friendly, aside from the occasional rushy cashier. Coffee is always fresh. However, I ordered an egg and cheese croissant that was still frozen in the middle. The barista did offer to heat me up a fresh one! Prices are a bit expensive, but so is everything else in this town. Not the best, not the worst.

Quick service even though they were very busy. Friendly and delicious.

What a perfect coffee shop! Coffee was great, good seating, staff SUPER friendly each time we went during our one week stay, and we never waited long (even when busy). Thanks so much!!!!

Small place, friendly staff, good coffee selections. I haven't tried any of the foods though.

First time here, but definitely won't be the last! Great service and fantastic coffee!
