My husband enjoyed his mocha Frappuccino. It was very good. Service was good. Dark hot chocolate was what I had. It was great. There were little bits of dark chocolate that were nice and the hot chocolate itself was very nice as well.

Best and only coffee shop in town. They have great lattes and a good selection of tea's. And a comfortable seating area to hang out or get some work done.

Disappointed. We love Highlands, it’s our local go to spot for a day trip from Atlanta. We’ve been coming to this coffee shop for years and we’ve always been satisfied with their service and coffee. We have not been here for the past year due to the weather and now the pandemic. Our last visit was when it was called “Bucks.” Our most recent visit this past weekend we found out it’s called “Calders.” So naturally we decided to give it a try.

No need to mention the appearance, they obviously made some improvements but we were not allowed indoor seating due to COVID, we totally understand.

Our disappointment came from the two things I mentioned earlier; service and coffee. The young lady who took our order seemed to be bothered to take our order as if we were bothering her. It appeared that she just didn’t want to be there, I get it, sometimes I feel that way too however, customers should still be greeted with a smile and ensure their order is correct. That didn’t happen. Our 2 coffees were wrong and they both tasted nasty. We ended up throwing them out. We also ordered 2 muffins, both were served cold and we were not asked if we wanted them warmed up.

Since there’s no indoor seating, we had to take our coffee and muffins 2 blocks to find a place to sit. Once we discovered our order was wrong and nasty, we did not go back. We simply threw it all out. To say it left a bad taste in our mouth was an understatement.

I not saying don’t go here or that this place sucks, maybe our bad experience was just a rare fluke. I’m willing to try again, but it might be a while before we come back. I wish them well.

This is an awesome coffee shop on Main St in the lovely mountain town of Highlands, NC! I met the owner who is so enthusiastic about her new shop...one reason, I'm sure, for the good vibes of this place. It is clean and welcoming, not to mention, the coffe is delicious! There are very good pastries, too. Also a good place to do some catching up on emails or reading while savoring the goodies. I will be coming back here whenever I am in Highlands. Best wishes to the owners of this wonderful new coffee shop!! And thank you!

Great locally owned coffee shop right in the heart of downtown Highlands! While exploring the area, this was the perfect stop to grab a coffee and a snack. The owner said that they had recently remodeled, and you could see the striking results.

They can definitely make a good espresso!

Did not eat. Coffee and worked. Great spot. Looking forward to going back

We enjoyed coffee twice at this delightful little shop during a recent weekend getaway. We love trying out local coffee establishments, and this one is fantastic. Friendly, efficient service. High quality delicious coffee.

Fast friendly service and coffee was good but not great. Great atmosphere and plenty of seating inside and out.

Wow. Worst experience of our week stay in Highlands. Ordered ahead and paid on the app. Arrived at time indicated by app. Nothing in pickup cubby. Asked at counter and learned order was canceled because one item (of 6) was out of stock. The app verifies your phone number when you order - but no call before axing our order? Sent to back of 15 minute line to order again. Arrived back at the rental house to learn items were missing! Food is passable. Service atrocious (no apology!). Wish there was a decent coffee shop in town!
