Ugly Mug Bean & Brew

Ever since I've been stationed on the I-40 project happening in the area, I stumbled upon this amazing cafe. Every morning I come into work, I stop by Ugly Mug to see the friendly faces, enjoy the delicious food and savour their amazing coffee. I'd highly recommend and have even convinced other people/coworkers to try this spot out. Definitely my go-to cafe to start the day off right!

This is a small hidden jem in Garner. The adult grilled cheese is great, add some bacon inside for some extra flavor. They have the best blended dirty Chi that I have had to date. I'm not a coffee drinker and don't really like the taste of coffee but the dirty Chi has a good flavor mix. They also have Coke products for those that don't do coffee at all. I have not been disappointed on any of the food items yet and the age range of folks here explains why they are doing well.

Contacted about poor service and poor food quality. No response. Preordered using website. Food was cold, coffee was lukewarm. Expensive disappointment.

Wow! Great food menu! The lattes are a little sweet, but everything is delicious. Blows Starbucks out of the water!

Great place! Coffee is great, the atmosphere and decor are fun and interesting, and they have the BEST waffles I've ever had!

I have come here quite a few times and love it! Everything I have had drink or food has been really good! Top things that I recommend a toffee and hazelnut latte and the ugly sampler. The waffles are super fluffy and have a hint of cinnamon which I love, I get two scrambled eggs and they don't have much flavor so ask for ketchup, their bacon is good as well as their yogurt! Their staff here is always nice and ready to help you, and the service is fast. A note of consideration if you plan to go on the weekend it's busy especially in the morning from my experience, but knowing that be patient because it's worth the wait!

Great service- they move the line quickly but still take time to answer any questions- and tasty food/lattes. Enjoyed the Belgium waffle and seasonal lattes- sugar cookie and peppermint bark w/ almond milk.
