Ugly Mug Bean & Brew

I'm not easy to please when it comes to food and coffee but this place has it all. I have never had a negative experience here. The coffee is always on point! I have had a LOT of coffee from here, my favorite is the drewbrowski. The ones with chocolate in them are not super awesome but are not terrible either. They can sometimes be a little slow on the food but you know it's fresh. The people are always friendly and if something doesn't come out right they will fix it. Which has only happened maybe twice out of the year we have been going. I'd choose it over Starbucks or Dunkin any day of the week!!

10/10 my favorite coffee shop! The food is amazing here and always looks so pretty! The drinks are incredible too! I adore the frozen drinks they have and they banana pudding frozen drink they have right now is great! They do a new monthly themed drink every month too which is cool!

We were looking for a place to have breakfast, this popped up and we decided to take a chance. It was a great decision, the coffe was great and the food too. We had the “ugly sampler” which came with a waffle, eggs, bacon and fruit, a “mugwitch” which was more of a healthy option in a whole grain bread with egg, cheese, avocado and bacon. Both dishes came with a side of fruit that was fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend. We had our oil change done while we were here by Carolina Quick Lube next door. Everything worked out perfectly.

I visited this past Sunday with my sister. It was our first time here. Happy to know she has a coffee shop near her home. The young lady that took our order was nice and helpful. She made suggestions on a few items from their menu. We ordered 2 iced lattes and the sampler.
Something unique about this place is that we were offered espresso shots or cold brew in our lattes. We did the shots. The sampler was delicious as well. It was a lot of food and I ended up splitting it with my sister.
There is seating inside and outside and a rather large parking lot.
This is a place I will come to again when I’m in Garner.

**COVID-19- Before going to a new place I always check reviews especially during the pandemic. I did see comments about staff members not wearing masks and/or guests. This was not my experience this past Sunday and I know it can vary. I wanted to note that ALL staff members were wearing masks. There is a large notice on the door that explains the mask mandate. Most guests had masks on as well unless they were at their tables.

This is a must-visit place! While traveling for work in December I stayed nearby & this was where I got my coffee & breakfast daily. The steak and egg wrap is SO good, the coffee is fantastic and the staff are super friendly.

I have always loved going to Ugly Mug since I found it. The food is good, granted I only do the breakfast menu but still, the atmosphere is fantastic and the coffee would make a certain chain jealous. You wont go wrong trying Ugly Mug!

It's been a while since we have visited Ugly Mug, but one of their drinks, The Alchemist, came to mind tonight and I just had to stop and give this place a great review. The inside is bright and airy and the customer service was top notch. Ugly Mug makes a mean breakfast sandwich, too! Excuse me--MUGwich. You've gotta stop by!

Great place to relax and enjoy a pastry, cake, muffin, breakfast, lunch or coffee. The selection is great and the options are plentiful.
You won't be disappointed visiting the Ugly Mug Bean and Brew. In addition, you are supporting a local, small business.

I love this place! They are always happy to make me a Decaf Americano with cream and honey, which is apparently a very unique order. Also, their Waffle with fruit is to die for! My husband loves their EggWich, which is an egg baked into thick bread with avocado and cheese.

Good local coffee shop. Their wafflewhich is my favorite breakfast sandwich, it is a great combination of savory and sweet. Be aware some of the coffee drinks are overly sweet.
