Good home cooked food. Reasonable prices. Large parking area. Staff dosen't have much personality. Take out available but check it good. Several times I have got home with my food and discovered things were not as ordered.

We love it here, the staff is always nice & friendly , the food is really good.
It's kept clean and most of the times that we've been there the Owner has been on site.
Come on in and give them a try, you'll be glad that you did.

One of my top 3 favorite restaurants in the Northern Wake/Franklin County area.

Your food is very good, but your air conditioning is so cold. Is freezing inside. For the last 3 visits, I got sick of my stomach, especially last Saturday. You can’t eat cold food in a cold environment. Need to think about the safety of your customers.

Ordered chicken liver plate to go and a fried chicken plate after 30 min finally got them and was only 3 tables with customers. Got home could not wait to eat livers but not a liver any where had chicken pastry with 1 of the veggies I wanted:(.

Service was poor. Slow to get food, then got wrong order. When finally served it was cold. Had to get own refills of coffee, napkins, and condiments. Corned beef hash was out of a can. Tables and wait staff did not look clean and presentable. Would never go back.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Burger had no seasoning to it. Fries were floppy

Waitresses had on yoga Capri pants. Really? I had our waitresses’ butt in my face several times. Jeans are fine, but come on. I’m with my wife. What are you trying to prove? Keep that clothing for working out, not serving me food.

One of best places to go to if want a home cooked meal and not dig into your savings account to pay for it, then come here to Hometown Cafe in Franklinton, North Carolina. Always a good atmosphere for the whole family and some of the sweetest people that take their time to get to know everyone they wait on.

Really great food! My mom really loves the catfish. The Southern fried chicken was out of this world!
