Have been a BT fan for years, like other reviwers, I've also seen it grow into the Durham instution is...if a visitor to Durham, it is really one of if not the best coffee shop in town. Great coffee,teas, shakes and delicious pastries.

Outstanding baristas and staff, very fresh ingredients and inventive dishes, soup and wine.

For a truly beautiful and refreshing beverage in the summer try the iced Hippie Palmer-- created by Dillon-- but any barista can make it anytime...hands down the most relaxing drink at BT.

Hands down the best coffee shop in the triangle area. The coffee is perfect and they have delicious + affordable breakfast items. When I open up a fresh bag of beans from bean traders, the smell is like heaven in a bag and the flavor lives up to the aroma.

Coffee drinks are great, the staff is always super nice and it's always refreshing to see the owner working behind the counter. I just wish they had more substantial breakfast items beyond baked goods. Don't get me wrong, their baked goods are really good. But I'd love to see some kind of breakfast sandwich or wrap or something along those lines as well. In any case, we still frequent this place!

Didnt get their coffee, but their pastries are the definition of mediocrity. Given that there are lot of people Sunday morning, I don't recommend going.

Stopped in for the first time. The iced latte was so flavorful and smooth even unsweetened. I got the Cool Cat bagel sandwich. So good, with everything bagel toasted, cucumber, and vegetable cream cheese. Will definitely be back.

I love this place. The vibe is friendly and joyful, with zero pretense but so much professionalism. There are always plenty of beautiful and yummy options in the pastry case, and the hot chocolate habanero coffee just makes my soul happy.

Bean Traders is our favorite place to grab a coffee close to home! The owner is so nice and we love their espresso drinks and baked goods. Highly recommend!
